Authentic Mexican at its best. We tried some seafood enchiladas and chicken burritos. They were some of the best ever. The chips and salsa was good. Margaritas were amazing but pricey. Service was great. Will definately come back here next time in the area.

Went for a later dinner while in the Dells! Due to ridiculous road construction it is really hard to get to, but it IS open, so definitely still go! Service was ok, our server was in a big hurry to get our order, so even though we asked for a few minutes, she kept coming back, so finally we just ordered! Chips and salsa and some creamy dip are all served when you sit, they were DELICIOUS! My hubby had the Taco Salad, delicious! I had the shrimp enchiladas covered in a cheese sauce, also very good, shrimp was excellent and the cheese sauce good, but very rich!The rice was good, the beans were excellent! We ordered the fried ice cream for dessert! It was good, but the ice cream was so hard it was hard to eat and it was covered in so much whip cream it was deceiving, it looked big, but was actually about 1/2cup ball of ice cream. It was still good, just smaller. Prices are a bit pricey, but it’s in the Dells!

Lovely authentic Mexican food. I especially loved their chipotle sauce/ salsa they provided with the chips. I could eat that on my own fist and be good with it. I had the basically ‘one of everything’ plate and enjoyed everything. Also had the blueberry margarita…. It was as big as my head! (And that’s a great thing) Thoroughly enjoyed my meal from an unexpectedly sitting Mexican restaurant

We were immediately sat down and giving chips and salsa but the waiter took a while to come and get our drink order but was quick to bring us our drinks and food. I got a Pina colada and it was really good. For food we ordered chicken chimichangaamd steak jaliscos and it was good but could’ve used more flavor. Would definitely come back tho

Stopped in for a late lunch recently. Service was fast and the salsa and chips were pretty good. Jose’s is a nice looking restaurant and pleasant wait staff. We had the speedy gonzalez and the steak fajitas. Both were just ok. Didn’t seem to be as flavorful as similar food that I have had at other local Mexican restaurants.

This place a hidden gem!!! I came as a vacation for the week and I got tired of fast food:( but this definitely made my trip 100000 times better! This is my second day here at this place before I head back home, I wish we had this type of place back home! And the servers are so welcoming and nice! A plus is they keep this place very clean!! Even the bathrooms!!!! I’ll definitely come back here when I come by for another vacation!

I’ve been away from WI for the last 11 years and Jose’s is one of the places I ALWAYS visit to have a meal. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Jose’s is a must visit when you are near any of his locations. Fajitas Rancheras is my favorite!
