My family has been going to Josephine’s Italian Restaurant for several years, and every visit has been consistently wonderful. It truly feels like a place where guests are genuinely valued. Josephine always makes a point to say hello when we arrive and personally thanks us when we leave, which adds such a thoughtful touch to the experience.
The bartender and staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. We often share appetizers, and the eggplant rollatini is my absolute favorite.
They regularly offer fantastic specials, and everything we have tried has been delicious. For entrées, I usually order fish or pasta, and both are always prepared beautifully. When available, the three course prix fixe menu is truly a hidden gem and an exceptional value.
The outdoor seating area is serene and inviting, making it one of our favorite places to dine when the weather is nice. Inside, the romantic Italian décor creates a Tuscany inspired atmosphere that feels refined yet cozy at the same time.
Even my mom rides her bike there, and they happily prepare takeout for her. That kind of warmth and flexibility speaks volumes about how much they care about their guests. Josephine’s is a place we return to again and again.

I just celebrated my 30th birthday here. What an amazing gem. It was our first time there and we couldn’t have had a better time. The food was amazing, the wine was great, and the place was so beautiful. I will be coming back even just for a date night. I’m not a huge duck fan, but one word for the duck was wow.

We had a late dinner at Josephine’s for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is very nice with beautiful white tablecloth. Prompt and attentive service. The menu was good and some of us ordered a la carte while some had the 3 course prix-fixe menu. The food was delicious and the wait was very short. All 7 of us had a great time and enjoyed the dinner and the live music. I saw a few negative reviews, not sure about them because we really like the restaurant. The cost for a three course meal with drinks was about $70 p.p.

Long wait to get water and bread after being seated. Waitress not knowkedgeable on prices for special dishes of the day.
She even told my friend ” No”, she couldn’t order a side dish because her entrée only came with green beans, so she ended up with 2 portions of green beans. The check was wrong, we were billed for 2 bottles of wine instead of one, we had to ask for an adjustment. The keyboard player was performing well, but the room was extremely noisy and crowded, not cozy.
When asked if the pasta was homemade, we were told it wasn’t, nor were the scarce pieces of bread. The mandatory valet is not condusive to good customer service. Small portions, pancetta unnoticeable on one entrée.

I love Josephine’s! Every visit includes a greeting immediately upon entering, which can be hard to find these days. The dining room has a nice Tuscany feel with white linen table cloths and proper table settings. The wait staff is attentive without being overbearing. Every dish I e had is delicious and the desserts are delectable. I’ve never been disappointed here.

While I was looking forward to a relaxing and great experience at Josephine’s, it was anything but.
The waiter was totally out of line in the way he treated us. ( two couples).
You NEVER EVER put your hands on a customer to get their attention as a waiter.It was not appreciated that he put put his hands on me so I could answer a question.
After that the entire meal was nothing but rushed, everything was served as fast as he could, there was no chance for conversation or enjoy the restaurant.
Will never be back again after this experience.

Both the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had and the best waiter service I’ve ever had. We were “lucky” enough to be “greeted” by Josephine herself who scowled at us to begin with and reluctantly sat us down for our reservation. I explained to her that we were having clients join us for a happy hour and we may have less people than originally scheduled and she could place us where convenient. Our guests unfortunately had to leave early and as I expected to expense this dinner, I was just going to have our waiter ring us up for extra food to accommodate the confusion. But instead, Miss Josephine stomped up, scolded us for an event that wasn’t our direct fault, and yelled at us to “never do this again to anyone else.”
By the way, the restaurant was absolutely empty (literally no other tables) and we were the only business there nearly the entire night. I nearly walked out then and there, frankly I should have, but our waiter was beyond accommodating and so respectful and understanding. I would have left for Josephine but I stayed for him because he went above and beyond.
Treating your customers like this, as an owner, is absolutely unacceptable and her behavior was almost embarrassing as her fake Gucci belt.

Ran out of literally half the menu by 6pm on xmas eve. 15 mins to bring a menu at all. Meatball appetizer came out cold. Now sitting here for over an hour and a half for the entree as I write this. Hot mess…. but at least the interior is nice. Just need to learn how to run the place

Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. The home-baked bread was fresh out of the oven, warm with a crispy crust. The wild-caught salmon was perfectly cooked & the pasta was flavorful. We will definitely add to our list of favorites.

Have to give 5 stars because it’s always great food and service, BUT Mary-Anne at the host stand was incredibly rude and gives the restaurant a horrible first impression. You should probably keep her in the back!
