The food was pretty good. It definitely came out hot and didn’t take a long time. We sat at the bar area it was darker than I’ve experienced at a restaurant I couldn’t hardly read the menu. The service wasn’t bad. Not attentive as the other Mexican restaurants we’ve been too. The bartender didn’t check on us after our food was delivered untill we needed something. Overall it’s was ok.

We come here sometimes as it is the neighborhood Mexican spot. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is friendly. They have an awesome bar and bartender, but the food is just OK. Most recently I ordered a shrimp burrito bowl and it was a $4 uncharge for precooked shrimp. It appears they have a new menu.

My new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food. We ordered guacamole, queso and fajitas (Cabo and Tequila Infused). All I can say is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS I forgot about the pina colada…yummm!! Our server was great as well. They menu has so many options, some things I’ve never heard of before but excited to try. Love this place.

I’m not exactly sure how to start this but I think Jose Tequila might have downsized their menu or maybe they just don’t offer a lunch menu anymore? Either way this is still my go to lunch spot. It’s close to work usually not too crowded and always hits the spot.
The first photo is my old favorite the burrito bowl which I ordered all the time. The second photo is their birria. I’d been wanting to try it for a while but never really craved it at lunch until now. With the menu changes I finally gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. The birria was tender and juicy, and the dipping sauces were absolutely delicious.

Nice place for a pretty good Mexican meal. Huge portions, great flavors, & quick service. Drinks were good & made well. Servers were friendly & efficient. I had the chicken quesidilla (u get 2)..very filling & cooked well. I didn’t take a Pic.. sorry. Prices are in line w/other places of similar cuisine. Laid back atmosphere & not overly crowded when I was there.

Shame on me as a business owner for not leaving a review sooner. My family and I visit this restaurant very often; we love the food and the service—until today. We decided to have lunch instead of dinner since my husband got off work early. We usually order the same thing, but I opted for birria noodles instead of birria tacos.
What a mistake. First, they brought out the wrong dish and questioned exactly what I ordered. When I confirmed, they walked away. A few minutes later, my waiter apologized and took the wrong plates, assuring us the correct order was on its way. About 15 minutes later, my family nearly finished their meals, and my correct dish finally arrived. The noodles looked undercooked, so I tasted them—and the entire bowl was cold. How is ramen cold?
The server took my dish back to the kitchen to warm it up. By then, I was completely turned off; I hate sending food back. The manager then came to the table to ask my husband if he wanted a drink refill, but he didn’t acknowledge or apologize for the mishap with my meal. Today’s experience has changed my previous 5-star rating to a 2.
If there’s a glimmer of future improvement, I’d suggest better order accuracy, ensuring hot, properly cooked dishes come out on time, and a sincere apology from management when things go wrong. Today it fell short and I wasted money!

We stopped by for lunch on a random decision. The staff was very friendly and seemed authentically happy we were there. The food we got of the lunch menu was fantastic, and the portions were well worth the money. We also kept it simple with a house margarita that was solid, and I would definitely order again.
