If you’re going here for food, don’t. The food was below average. No one in my group liked their food. For burgers, they only cook it to the level the chef wants to, which was medium well when my group went. If you ask for it to be cooked differently they will tell you they can’t. The chef also would not cut a burger in half for two people to share it. The waitress was great. She was super attentive and orderly and kind. The drinks people ordered were good although the food was not. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe for outdoor seating is nice because there is live music some evenings. Inside isn’t very nice as far as atmosphere. The kids quesadilla was okay and the rice and beans were not really seasoned.

The server was amazing but the food was by far the worst “mexican” food I’ve ever had. Drinks are good, of course. But I feel that they are playing to the fact that they are lift side and people have no other options. My rice was mush and my veggies, zucchini and squash, came out black. Very bad… sorry.

Went there late afternoon after a long set of meetings. We had margaritas, which were okay, not enough margarita for the price. We had chips and salsa which were good and a cheese appetizer which was also really good

José has the best servers, margaritas, food, and atmosphere up in Mt.Crested Butte. After a hard day of mountain biking, go get some tacos, salsa, and chips, wash it down with a frozen margarita while watching the sun set on the mountain is a great way to end the day. Thank you staff of José for making my dining experience one that guarantees my return for 5he ski season

We were seated immediately but it was all down hill after that. Our drinks were brought out after our food. I had the trout. Absolutely no flavor, rice was crunchy and veggies weren’t as advertised. We received asparagus instead of zucchini and squash. Husband got enchiladas suiza, sauce tasted like mustard. Food is very pricey and disgusting. Drinks were 5 bucks a piece. Will never waste my time or money here again. Would give a zero if allowed.
