This place is incredible!! BR definitely has its share of Mexican places but this one really stood out for me. You can really taste the difference in the quality of the food and their menu items were well thought out and executed.

Mexican food with Louisiana personality! Everything was incredibly fresh!! The guacamole tasted like it was made five minutes ago, the taco bowls were loaded with flavor, and the salsa had just the right amount of kick. The frozen spicy margaritas… dangerously good, like the kind where you say “I’ll just have one” and then suddenly you’re ordering a second and canceling the rest of your plans for the evening. 10/10 will be back!!

The food and atmosphere are a 10! I think this is my new favorite marg in the city. Still dreaming about the ahi tuna tostados and enchiladas! Recommend a spicy marg, Paloma mix!

This is for sure our new go-to Mexican restaurant! The queso is the best in BR hands down. Their guacamole is SUPER fresh and the chips served with it are next level good. You have to order the tuna tostadas. That is a can’t miss appetizer, along with the gumbo rojo, which is the perfect Louisiana Mexican fusion dish. Must try! Truly everything we had was great! Fish tacos, short rib tacos, kids shrimp quesadilla, all EXCELLENT. The frozen Paloma is delicious and I am already counting the days till I am back to get another one. Service was great, super friendly, and the restaurant has a really cool, fun, laid-back vibe. Family friendly as well! Can’t say enough good things about this new gem of a Mexican restaurant!

We had a really great family dinner here and my husband and I want to go back soon for a date night! The menu is so interesting, there was something for everyone. Even the kid’s food was high quality. The salad was huge! I upgraded to steak and it was both crunchy and juicy – how is that even possible?
Also sshhh there sometimes is an off-menu dessert that is amazing (we heard someone talking about it and had to try it). I won’t ruin the fun– you should go see for yourself. I am uploading a photo because I can’t even describe how cool it looks on the inside. Even my teenager said so and he never notices that kind of thing!
