We went to tree lighting and enjoying Swansboro by Candlelight, but we did not want to wait 2 hours to eat. We have passed Jordan’s and always wanted to stop in, so that night it seemed perfect. Though when we got there it seemed that everyone had the same idea because the parking lot was full. Even so, we went in and they got us a table right away. Staff is beyond friendly and felt like you were with friends and family and not just out at a restaurant. I had the catfish and brisket combo with fried okra and sweet potato fries. Everything was devine and fresh!

Finally got a chance to step into Jordan’s for the first time. And as soon as I walked in the door I felt like I’ve been there before . The service and servers were so friendly and nice. I sat at the bar or oyster bar and placed my order and within no time I had my steamed oyster with unlimited butter sauce and cocktail sauce. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. we went to jordan’s smokehouse for the first time last night and everything we ordered was amazing. we had the brisket with sea scallops in butter with old bay, fried okra, bbq ribs, mac and cheese, and shrimp with butter and old bay. we also ordered a side of the pulled pork to try. the server that was with us was so easy to talk to and was very good (dawn). we loved the atmosphere there. great first experience and went home with full bellies and left overs!

So very disappointed in one of our favorite restaurants. Hoping it was just an off night or new inexperienced cook. We ordered the seafood boil – we have had it there before, the potatoes, sausage and corn we cold an uncooked. Our server awesome an handled the problem, but for 82$ that was with a discount for under cooked food that’s alot for a mistake. Have to say the shrimp an crab was not the best either.

Mixed review here. First off, the owner is awesome! We sat at the bar and enjoyed her company and chat. Overall we had a great experience, but I was going to go with a 3 Star, but the few annoying issues can be overlooked.
The Good. Lobster Bisque A+++++. Large chunks of lobster in a creamy / savory bisque. Excellent flavor. Fatty cut Brisket. They can do fatty cut CORRECT! Melt in your mouth tender, great smoke flavor, two large cuts. Mac n cheese – makes Velvetta look like amateur. Very creamy and has serious white cheddar taste. Sweet potato Fries A++++. Scallops – YES PLZ! Medium size, excellent quality, flavor and seared perfectly. Okra was very good.
The Bad. Crab DIp – zero flavor, just not good. Served with bread – but not even toasted. Terrible! Flounder sandwich. Flounder was excellent, but served on a cheap Cosco hamburger bun….. Really? Flounder was fried perfectly and great, but still – hamburger bun? I ordered a side Soft Shell Crab, about average. I am not sure I would order it again for $12.
When we got there, the young lady whom started our order was excellent, just like the owner. The new gal that took over must have had a bad night or morning. Not friendly or attentive at all. If she smiled her face would probably break. Overall, a great place with lots of locals and great food!

I was here a few years back and the again tonight and both times had a great experience. This time I had the BBQ pork plate with sweet potato fries and baked potato. BBQ was delicious with the crispy bits I love. Not usually a vinegar based sauce but the sauce here needs to be sold in stores nationwide. Sweet potato fries were perfect and came with a wonderful cinnamon sugar butter , the baked potato…not so much. It was hard and tasted old. My sister enjoyed her steak and sides. The cashier asked if I had asked for a replacement but I did not.

Oh my…. Let me just say, this place has REAL seafood options! Fresh oysters and scallops… most places have crab and shrimp… but they have all the options for a real seafood lover! And, they were not measly little things, they were big and meaty! Everything was fresh and reasonably priced (especially for fresh seafood!!). My waitress was Teresa and she was amazing! She was so attentive and sweet. I can NOT say enough great things about this place. Also, the entire staff was super nice and friendly. Choose this local spot for your food options!!

First visit. Middle of the week for lunch. Hush puppies brought out first were very good. I got a fried shrimp po’boy with fried and cup of clam chowder. Soup was little bland, but plenty of clams. The shrimp were cold and lacked flavor. Bread was good. And fries weren’t bad. Could have been an off day. I’d try them again.
