I’ve been to this restaurant many times. When I arrived there this evening I was greeted by what appeared to be a not very happy employee. She was very short with us and began telling us what we couldn’t have because it was about 45 minutes until closing and the grill was closed. Ok, no problem. I asked what we could order and were told what was already used up for the evening. By this time I had heard so much I didn’t know what I could have so I ordered chicken strips which I really didn’t want. 25 minutes later I was handed a plate. It had french fries so done they were hard and hollow and a bunch of little tidbits and chicken crusts with the biggest piece being like 1 1/2 inches long. It was hard and overdone also. It was like eating a plate full of cardboard. I’m very disappointed. This stuff cost me almost $14 and McDonald’s would have been better. I don’t know if I’ll come back there or not.

For starters, there was no aroma of BBQ from this place at all so the palate is not prepared for the meal once received. The staff was nice and kind so that was a huge bonus. The food, though, was awful. My family all ordered the special for the day: Jumbo chopped BBQ sandwiches with fries and a drink. The price was quite high for what we received at $45 after tax for what I feel was a normal sized and under-proportioned mediocre pork sandwich.

Food was good , it was our first time there and it was great until we asked for hot sauce not knowing that is available by the soda machine. The young man that brought our food brought us a bottle of hot sauce when we asked about it. Shortly after a young woman that works came and scolded us for having the bottle, she told us that there is a sign that says to leave it in the box and put into a 2 oz container. That was extremely rude! You do not scold patrons that spend good money in your establishment. I called to let someone know we didn’t appreciate being scolded by a child and the person I spoke to was obviously not bothered, pretty much like if you don’t like it don’t come back sort of thing. If it wasn’t for paying customers what would make the business thrive? Very rude ! We will not be back

I got fish and it was tiny and as hard as a rock ……so overcooked. I complained and sent back. They brought me two more pieces and it was raw inside snd also overcooked on the outside. Will not be going back there again

Portion size was tiny for what we paid but it was super clean and decorated very pretty. They are good cooks. The tea was nasty. Bad reviews hurt small businesses so I still gave them 4 stars because the food was pretty good.

The BBQ and sausage was really good, and after being here before and having the catfish I decided to get 2 pieces of catfish and hush puppies added to my sampler for $4.99 extra. I’m sticking to the BBQ next time as the catfish they served were really tiny. I’ve had fish sticks bigger than this! And for $4.99 extra? Of course, since you pay before you even sit down, it feels like a total rip-off. I expect more since you “catfish” as part of the name of your business. Not sure if I’ll be returning.
