We probably should have chosen BBQ, which smelled really good, or something different from what we ordered. The fried bologna sandwich with egg was too thick for our tastes. It would have been much better half the size and fried a little crispy. The sides we choose were: cornbread, pinto beans, fried okra, sweet potato casserole, and mac & cheese. All the sides were good except the mac & cheese. It tasted very salty the day we visited. The atmosphere and outside seating area was awesome. Staff was great. The Stevie Nicks cocktail was also very good. We will definitely be back to give them another try.

It’s a cool small place with the rustic small town vibe. Seating inside for around 50-53 people with more available outside when weather permits. Ben who owns it really has a handle on food and public relations! Thank you for such great hospitality… it really made our day.
Food- We had pork plates with sweet potatoes and potatoe salad… Definitely the cowboy beans. It is an enormous portion so be hungry when ordering here!!!
The brownie desert adding any flavor of ice cream is highly recommended.
Prices- The price for us, with 2 pork plates, 2 drinks (tea) and a desert wasn’t too bad… all under $50 total.
We definitely want to come back when the weather breaks and check out the outdoor venue. Live music and the summer days of these East Tennessee mountains.. add good food and friends it’s a YES!

I cannot say enough good things about this Wonderful place. We did the smoked brisket meal. It was the BEST I have ever had! Dessert Bourbon Bacon Pecan Pie! Fabulous!

AMAZING food and great atmosphere! My husband and I love this place. We come here often. The inside has so much nostalgic memoirs while the outside is very nice and relaxing. Come for the live music too for a great time (but call in reservations first)!

The atmosphere and the food are great! I went at lunch during the week and highly recommend the Mac Attack and the Memphis burger. They were amazing. Friendly and fast service from Madi Jane. They also have an ice cream counter that is on my list for next time. Will definitely be back.

Today consort and I had lunch at the Jonesborough Barrel House. We both had the Memphis burger covered with pulled pork, onion rings and bacon. Need I say more? I had the cornbread salad which was worth a letter home. We washed the meal down with an Ole Smoky blackberry moonshine and lemonade cocktail, and are now on our way to buy the moonshine at the liquor store. Simply delicious! We sat on the patio with our dogs while we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I believe our waitress set a new standard for waitresses; she was fast and efficient. If you’re in Jonesborough, stop for a burger and moonshine. You’ll be glad you did!

We ate here for the first time on 2/8 and really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food! We have eaten at all of the BBQ restaurants in the tri-cities and this one is definitely our new favorite! The pulled pork is so flavorful and the texture is great. Our waiter was attentive and provided great recommendations, will definitely be back!

We celebrated our friend Cody’s mother’s birthday with yummy BBQ, fries, coleslaw, and the BEST potato salad. The pulled pork was melt in your mouth delicious and the brisket was yum. The apples and beans were perfect sides as well. We will be back!

This drink right here is the bomb.com! If you love pineapple upside down cake then trust me my friend you’ve got yourself in for a treat. Not too sweet and to me doesn’t even taste like alchohol, which is amazing. I absolutely love this place! Make sure you plan to have a small wait, between people not wanting to go back to work and this place just being amazing there is sometimes a wait. But trust me when I say, IT IS WORTH IT. They have sides that no other bbq place offers like cowboy beans and my favorite, cornbread salad. Just make sure you add a little bit of extra ranch cause the cornbread can get a little dry. The bbq is really good also but sometimes I just want a nice drink and some good sides to munch on. YOU MUST COME TRY THIS PLACE OUT IF YOU COME VISIT!!
