Roasted Locally, Sought Globally Our roastery was established by Chuck and Larry Jones in 1994. As the retail/café side of the business grew, so did the need for seating. When we exceeded the City’s specified seating limit, die-hard customers began bringing in their own “talking chairs” to assure they’d have a place to sit and talk with friends the next time they came in. The Jones Coffee Roasters logo is inspired by this act of community building.

Welcoming coffeehouse with global roasts owned by a family that has its own plantation in Guatemala.

I used to rotate between Jameson Brown whenever I ran out of beans, but now I’ve fully settled on Jones.
Before regularly supporting local roasters, I subscribed to Stumptown, and honestly, in terms of flavor and freshness, Jones is in no way inferior to Stumptown.

One thing I especially love is their reward system. Instead of a typical points-based program, they give you a free cup of coffee when you buy a bag of beans and that simple gesture brings a different kind of joy.

My personal favorites are the Pasadena Blend, Madison Blend, and Bourbon Rojo. Each has its own character, and they never disappoint.

Delicious coffee, rich, and full of flavor. Staff are lovely. Cool vibey, setting. And owners Chuck Jones and family really know their beans. 😉

Make sure you come after hours for the wine bar that opens up The Crush Pad. ❤️

Great coffee spot in Pasadena! During my Pasadena visit, I came across Jones Coffee Roasters. The cafe is very artsy with art all throughout. Very fun vibe! The menu consist of your basic coffee options, latte, espresso, Americana etc.. If you’re not a coffee lover, there are non coffee options. There’s pastry options as well if you need a quick bite. I got an iced vanilla latte which was perfect and a warm buttered croissant. Yum!

There’s plenty of parking which is always a big deal for me. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Go check it out!

Probably one of my favorite coffee spots in Pasadena. After seeing the new interior renovations, it appears to be a great lounge, wine spot.

I had their matcha latte with whole milk. It had the perfect temperature, flavor and it was a well made morning drink. Overall a delicious start to the day.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. Parking can get crowded during peak times, fyi.

I want to start off by saying this place has excellent coffee. The espresso is amazing. However, the matcha is not it. It’s usually okay. However, today I got a cup of mostly warm milk. It was barely green, and it was more like a hint of matcha. So I paid 6+$ for a cup of warm milk with a hint of matcha. Basically if you go here, get a coffee based drink, and you’ll be happy.

Jones Coffee Roasters (est 1993) is a family run coffee company in Pasadena. I have been to their other shop on Mission street but this location on Raymond avenue is absolutely chic and artsy with cool atmosphere; it’s indoor decor has a rustic look and dim lit which is a perfect coffee date spot to bring someon3.

Staff were competent and professional and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a compendious selection of coffee from blends to seasonal to decafs. Similarly, they have coffee bean bags, mugs, and decanter for sale. have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats.

I had a hot Latte w/ whole milk. And it was perfectly made to my liking. Parking lot and street parking are available albeit very limited. I was lucky that I found a street parking spot. Overall, I enjoyed my coffee and their service. I’d definitely come back. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

I ordered an iced coffee. It tasted very good. The interior was interesting, even though the deco is not to my taste. Limited parking space (they created a patio in the parking area) and no a/c were backdrops when I rate this place. The croissant is dried.

Great place to get some coffee and do some work. Open space with an industrial vibe. Lots of seating indoors and out. Next to a few other businesses including a takeout pizza place. No wifi, which is actually really nice for focused work. Spotted some outlets so you can still bring your computer.

Decently sized parking lot but it’s a very popular location so you might need to park on the street, part of the lot is taken for outdoor seating. Dog friendly, lots of greenery. Nice staff and decent prices. I tried a savory croissant (sage and cheddar I think?) and the lavender oat latte. Croissant was pretty tasty, a bit oily. Latte was a bit too sweet for me, but still good. Would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

Jones coffee is a neat little spot in Pasadena. Has both indoor and outdoor seating and offers an open flow, hipster vibe. Whats Great about this place is that you will see people from all walks of life. I saw a businesswoman prepping for a meeting, and I also saw an artist working on some of his artwork. I had a lavender iced latte which was very flavorful and you can taste a lot of lavender. Not too sweet, just how I like it. They also offer a wide variety of pastries to go along your coffee.
