Reviews
I want to update my previous review. Savannah, the manager, personally called me and apologized profusely for what happened. She let me know she had already addressed the situation with the staff manager from that evening and was very sincere and earnest about making it right.
I truly appreciate her professionalism, her prompt follow-up, and the way she handled the situation. It speaks volumes that Jonathon’s takes concerns like this seriously and is willing to step up and correct them.
Thank you, Savannah, for restoring our confidence.
We had dinner at Jonathon’s tonight with a party of eight. Our total before tip was $228.
Let me start with the positive: our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, kind, and did everything right. The rest of the food at the table was delicious.
Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by how management handled a serious issue.
My son ordered a burger medium rare. After eating about two-thirds of it, he realized something was wrong. When he looked inside, parts of the burger were visibly raw and cold — not medium rare, but uncooked.
We called the manager over (his name was Kane). Instead of listening, he immediately argued that this is what medium rare looks like. He then walked away mid-conversation.
We called him back because we genuinely thought we must have misunderstood his response. He doubled down, again insisting the burger was correct. He then implied that because my son had eaten part of it (along with fries), the complaint was questionable — as though we were trying to get something for free.
Eventually, he offered to take half off the burger.
The issue was not the discount. It was the attitude. A manager arguing with guests over visibly undercooked meat — and subtly accusing a customer of dishonesty — is not professional.
Restaurants make mistakes. Kitchens make mistakes. That happens. What should not happen is a manager who is defensive, dismissive, and unwilling to handle concerns with basic courtesy.
Again, our waitress was excellent, and the rest of the food was good. But management matters. And tonight, management failed.
Sat in dinner area & it was very chill.
Expensive, but worth it!
This was my first visit to Jonathan’s, and I wasn’t disappointed.
It felt a little more upscale than your average “sports bar.” The place was huge, imo, with one side having a big bar and on the other side was seating for lunch/dinner. TVs were everywhere, so no matter where you sat, you could watch TV.
Our waitress Rachael was fabulous. She was attentive yet not hovering,
a perfect combo. No complaints about the food either, I wasn’t crazy about the buttered bun for my burger, but that’s a preference issue, not a quality issue ( It is fun to say though, buttered, bun, burger…. go ahead, you know you wanna… now say it fast )
All in all, it was an enjoyable experience for a reasonable amount of money, I’ll be going back.
Emily, Hostess seated us right away. She was personable, friendly, and very nice.
Our waitress, Helen was very good. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made you feel comfortable, and came back and refilled boyfriend’s sweet tea. I had water
I order fish and chips. It was really good. My.boyfriend enjoyed his French Dip sandwich.
The adult beverages, a margarita and an old fashioned, were very good. We also enjoyed the firecracker salmon bowl and smash burger with onion rings. Sophie was prompt and attentive with service.
Delighted to know that they also have locations in the greater Nashville area as well!
Menu offers lots of choices for vegetarians and even has gluten free options.
The group I ate with absolutely loved the appetizer of grilled Brussels sprouts with sweet chili sauce. The waffles sweet potato fries were amazing and can come with cinnamon sugar coating or salt.
