We’ve been to this place multiple times, the food quality is so inconsistent. During the good (busy) days, the spicy chicken tasted superb – rich and juicy. Then during regular days/times, it was super dry and tasteless. Often times you get mixed batches of overnight and freshly cooked chicken. I love their flavor but just can’t stand this unpredictable quality.

The chicken was super juicy, super hot, super crispy. Gravy was astounding, hot salty, rich. Biscuit wasn’t all that amazing, good not great. Same for the mashed potatoes. Ube pie was fantastic, crispy, light, sweet but not overly so. The all star was the Angus burger, which I didn’t have and was gone before I could take a picture. Forgot to mention i got the spicy chicken which I would rate as being spicier than Popeyes spicy chicken but not super hot by any means.

It was ok. It is as good as competitors. The spicy was the way to go. It just wasn’t worth the 20 minute wait when I had ordered 2+ hrs before showing up. It was good though. We tried a bit of everything. A side of spaghetti worked out well with the smoked flavor, as did the mashed potatoes, fries were meh, the adobe rice was tasty, we cut up two sandwiches into quarters and that was enough to get an idea of the flavors for the whole family. The Korean BBQ sandwich was the best though.

The food was good, prefer this over KFC any day. The option they have here is way better than other fast food fried chicken place. Location is easy to find, however it is very small hardly any sitting space available. The Spicy level here not like asian where there is sauce on it. This more like dried spice got a nice kick but not that spicy.

Oct 17, 2026 update-: Went back again but decided to dine inside this time. We got there just before the crowd showed up. This place does not have much indoor seating and it’s getting cold to sit outside so not even sure why they have such a small dining room so that means they want you to get your food to go. The drive through was more crowded so that’s why we went inside. I had a two piece spicy chicken dinner which mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Chicken was all dark meat (preferred) and was hot and delicious. Slaw and potatoes were good also. My only complaint you can see in the pics below is the biscuit needed a tan but it was still edible. My kid has sandwich that I cannot remember but you can see in pics…she said it was good. The fried chicken here is pretty good and I’d prefer it over that Kentucky place any day.

One day on the way home, we saw the line was not terrible so went though the drive thru just for some fried chicken…the magic words. If you don’t plan to eat there, hit the drive thru since there was only like 2 cars in front of us, but since it’s new, give the people some grace as I had never seen the menu before and they had folks out taking orders like a Chick Fil A. It probably took us 10 min to get our food and be gone. So, we ordered the six piece fried chicken half spice and half regular. Took it home and it was still hot (Temp) and we even had some gravy which I was not aware you get. And the best part, it was all dark meat so not sure they do that on purpose but nothing like fried dark meat. I ain’t gonna front, the chicken was delicious and the service wasn’t bad. The spicy chicken was def hotter but not overpowering and I dipped it in the gravy. I even ate the crust which I don’t normally like crust on chicken as some places have too must crust hiding a small piece of chicken but it was just right and the chicken was good size inside. We did notice a line of people going into the restaurant so take your chances and when I go back, I’ll hit the drive thru again. I need to get the spaghetti that I’ve heard about. My only gripe is the price with six pieces coming in at $18 bucks.

Chicken Joy is ❤️! I also love their “Filipino-style” sweet spaghetti and pineapple juice! Tasted their angus cheeseburger, I hope they would also serve the yumburgers (and the palabok and burger steak). And aside from the good food, shout-out to Ms. Janis, Ms. Marianne and Ate Lucy for their great service. Feels like I’m back home. ❤️

A Taste of Home at Jollibee!
As a Filipino, I was absolutely thrilled to see a Jollibee open near my area. The last time I visited one was back home in the Philippines, so this brought back a lot of great memories. I took my wife and kids to the new branch two weeks after it opened. As expected, the line was long—but totally worth it!
The customer service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Many of the staff were also Filipino, which made it extra special since I got to speak in my native language—what a treat!
We ordered the Chickenjoy, fries, gravy, mango pie, and of course, the signature pineapple juice. Everything tasted just as I remembered—delicious and comforting. My wife and kids loved the food too!
The restaurant was clean, and I was impressed with how well the staff kept up with cleaning the tables and maintaining the restroom. Shout-out to the team for doing such a great job.
Overall, a 5-star experience! We’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

Tasty and juicy fried chicken. Spicy flavor is really good but too . The restaurant was so packed during dinner time which made the fries taste so crispy. Like it and will come back.
