Wonderful food, wonderful people. My husband has barely slept or eaten in days, at the hospital with his mom just staying by her side. He finally went to get a real meal, and stopped here. They gave him a discount/dessert and told him they’d keep his mama in their prayers. What a lovely place. He says the food was dang good, too.

We were on our way from Dallas to Little Rock stopping in Mt Pleasant for the night.
Jo Jack’s was 1/4 of a mile away from our KOA, and was highly recommended by our camp host. We placed a takeout order, HOLY COW I’m glad we listened, because they have the best Texas BBQ!! They were generous enough with the sauces, and my favorite was the spicy one. Please stop by and support this local business! You won’t be disappointed!

We used JoJacks to make the food for a company event. The event was for 175 people. JoJacks staff (especially Ann) was great to work with. The food was ready on time, the price was reasonable and the food was plentiful and delicious. Many people raved about the food. JoJacks did not disappoint. We will definitely be using them in the future and I will continue to personally support. If you are in Mt. Pleasant be sure to go by there. You will not be disappointed.

This place is perfect! The food is fantastic and the people that work here are amazing too! You must try everything including the coconut custard fried pie and the banana pudding! Thank you JoJacks for our first BBQ in Texas! It exceeded our expectations!

Stopped in on a Saturday and were pleasantly impressed with the great BBQ here. The smoke hits you when you walk in the door – in a very good way!
We ordered a pound of sliced brisket, which was very moist and did not require sauce.
I ordered the Elote bowl with Chopped brisket. It had onions, Cilantro, creama, and queso fresco. Delicious!
My husband got the loaded spud with Chopped brisket – the potato was fluffy and nicely cooked.
Lots of great options here – highly recommend!

SWEET BBQ, I don’t think I’ve ever had so sweet of BBQ. I wasn’t a huge fan. Needed a lot of acidity to cut the sweetness of the meat and sauce. Quite pricey for mt pleasant. About 10-12$ each. Unique soda and chip choices. Variety of meats and sides to choose from. No fried sides like okra or fried pickles which was disappointing for me. But not bad food, if you like sweet Q! Very sweet and welcoming staff, accommodated our party of 20 on a Saturday night.

OMG, the ribs and brisket are delicious! Ribs were perfect even without sauce and the brisket so tender I almost didn’t need a knife. Broccoli salad, baked beans…yum yum!! One of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Ya gotta try it!!!!

I had a sliced beef Sandwich and pinto beans which had bits of sausage cut up in it. Both were very tasty as was the barbecue sauce. Peppers onions and pickles are available at a self serve bar. A patron leaving said their street tacos are also good.

Surprisingly decent bbq. No complaints, spare ribs weren’t bad, moist brisket was solid, place was clean, the potato salad was a hit. Even the fried pies were pretty good.
