What a hidden gem in the Newmarket Mill Buildings! I had never even heard of this restaurant and my parents offered to take us out there. We had a wonderful dinner in a great atmosphere. The Chicken and Salmon meals were absolutely delicious! Great selection of local brews on tap and bottles/cans. Friendly staff, clean. We will be back!

First timer, quaint atmosphere, great venue to catch up with friends, food was delicious, a little on the pricier side, but worth it. A bit aromatic from the kitchen cooking, all around enjoyable dining experience.

We’ve visited The Joinery twice and found the food excellent. Everything was fresh and matched the description perfectly. Those who ordered menu items as described found the food excellent. I am on a strict low cholesterol and low sodium diet. Prior to both visits I telephoned and told them I was coming and about my dietary needs. The chef appreciated the call. When I arrived and told the waitress about my needs the chef was prepared. The dinner was presented very artistically and the taste was excellent. In both cases I ordered the fresh catch fish of the day and two vegetables without salt but beautifully displayed on my plate. It was obvious that the food came directly and quickly from the sea, pasture, or soil.

This place was seriously perfect. Have a vegan girlfriend and they have an entire section of menu items. She had a warm kale salad with harissa sauce that she absolutely loved. I went with a bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was easily in the top 5 burgers I have had. Great atmosphere and beer selection.

Culinary art – elevated. My husband and I went to The Joinery to celebrate our 5 year anniversary – it was the perfect evening. Warm and inviting with rustic charm. Beautiful presentation, and the flavors complimented one another perfectly. So much pride in their dishes – everything was exceptional. We are excited to return!

Amazing dinner last night! Sweet corn soup with crab hushpuppies, horseradish beets, beets and blue, mash and the irresistible oyster lettuce wraps and warm kale salad. Each dish memorable for its blend of flavors, flawless preparation, and freshness. Don’t miss this incredible fall menu!

Went here with my picky chef fiance and a friend for their Sunday brunch menu. No only was it a hit, we are already planning when to return. Atmosphere is amazing, drinks are killer and prices are reasonable. Very happy to have found a new favorite local spot!
