We were there for lunch for the first time. Nice ambience and very good service. The servers were friendly and forthcoming. We had Vitello Marsala (5 stars) and Apollo Parmigiana (4 stars). As desert we had Tiramisu which was just great.

We came in last night for dinner. The food was honestly really amazing. The bruschetta was way bigger than we expected too! The dessert was cheesecake with some raspberry or strawberry sauce on it, really yummy. We got the Carne and Pesto pizzas. Both soo good. Our server, Colly was super sweet and very attentive. She checked on us often. Also the jays were playing and they were showing the game 🙂

Chicken Parm was good but I can see for some maybe a bit salty. For me salt level was good. Pizzas were great and the chili oil was good. The fish and ravioli was good. Has a nice outdoor patio area to chill as well.

My wife and I went here recently for our anniversary and the whole experience was great. Friendly staff, cozy & ambient atmosphere and the food was great tasting as well. A bit expensive but the quality was top notch. Not much of a wait time between courses or to have our drinks served to us. Our server Kate was great and hope she is commended for doing a really good job!

Love this restaurant and its staff. The chefs make amazing food— it tastes like it should, and it’s evident the best ingredients, proper care, and time go into what’s made. The Caesar salad is a favourite starter. The fire and stone baked pizzas are always fantastic, and is my go-to, as is the pasta. The food is like most of the highest quality I’ve had the privilege of eating in Italy— one of my favourite places to travel with work. Last time in, I had the chef’s pizza with potatoes, sausage, red pepper and something else.
I was so glad I tried it. The atmosphere is always great— people at the bar, laughter, chatting, and usually someone celebrating something. Also fantastic when it’s patio season!!
Everything is always clean including bathrooms downstairs. Event room available upstairs as well.
Thanks to all wait staff for amazing, kind, and personable service each and every single time. We will definitely keep coming back.

Had the great fortune to happen to stop by on a very busy night, outdoor concert right outside. So busy in fact, we were seated at the bar. We got to witness Michaela and Harrison work their magic behind the bar. Service top notch, the speed at which the dishes came out was dazzling, and the flavors? Out of this world. Will be back 100%.

Joia on Main serves absolutely delicious food — every dish we had was spot on. The atmosphere is equally impressive, with a warm, inviting vibe that makes for a great night out.
That said, the service could use some improvement. The waitresses seemed undertrained and not very attentive. Food and drinks were dropped off quickly with minimal interaction, no smiles, and placed randomly on the table without any care. This wasn’t just our experience — we noticed it at other tables as well.
On a positive note, the owner came out to help and was incredibly kind and welcoming. That kind of leadership stood out and gives me confidence that things can improve. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope to see more engagement and attentiveness from the staff next time.

What an amazing patio. Was a bit of a wait (Maybe 20 minutes?) but for a clear Friday night, well worth waiting to relax on the patio. They keep the doors open so even the inside feels very open.
Marc was extremely hospitable, making excellent recommendations and gave us some insight into the care and preparation of their food.
Drinks and Food were served timely.
Gnocchi is hand made by Marc himself or those he’s trained and developed to prepare. Extremely good Gnocchi. Soft and tender with good bite. Very creamy and rich sauce.
The pizza is my kind of pizza. Thin and crunchy with a nice fluffy crust. Tried two pizzas, the Bianchi with added mushrooms and then a Margherita (add prosciutto, Parmesan and arugula) which is actually a secret menu item that Marc recommended.
Bianchi was nice although I would have liked more cooked onions. Still a nice crunch of onion but I do prefer a softer onion on my pizza.
Also enjoyed the Fritto Misto which was perfectly cooked, served hot and extremely tender.
Parmesan and pepper is served to taste at the table.
And to top everything off you should ask for the chilis in oil. Definitely a favorite with nice peppers and great heat.

We came for a Sunday lunch on a nice sunny day, sat right next to the pizza oven. It was a perfect place for a slow lunch with family. Great appetizers, the pizza was quite decent, and the risotto was surprisingly good. Definitely the ambience/view of Fairy Lake is part of the experience. Good option if you’re craving Italian.
