The ambiance was great for a country Cafe. The service was fabulous. The waitresses were nice and helpful. The dining area was one big room with license plates from far way and patrons autographs on the walls. Old folks would love this place. I can make the best chicken fried steak. You could call me a food snob. The chicken fried steak was prefab. It was a thin steak with breading that was tender and lightly crispy. The hash browns were dehydrated. The biscuits and gravy was very good, so was the coffee The dessert menu looked scrumptious!
I’ll go there again and just be decadant and have dessert and coffee while the guys have a full breakfast. I ate half of what I ordered and gave the rest to my brother.

Friendly staff & great grub. Like all good Mom & Pop dinners, there is the “liars table” made up of old timers telling stories & solving all the world’s issues. Gotta love it.

This place has a ton of character & good
food. I had the eggs over medium, bacon, and biscuits/gravy. For more flavor in the sliced potatoes i added some grilled onions.

The owner isn’t very nice at all but everyone else is awesome. Thankfully I’ve not had the displeasure of running into the owner yet there but I know some that have. Otherwise, it’s a great place to eat! Just a little old country kitchen and it’s good!

Today my husband and I visited for the first time and we will be coming back! I had a cheeseburger with fries, my hubs had the chicken casserole with green beans and mashed potatoes. My fries were perfect, lightly crispy and soft n warm on the inside, the burger was delicious! My husband said the cornbread that came with his meal was the best he’s tasted. I had the strawberry cake and my husband had the chocolate pie for dessert and both were delicious!
Our service was great and the waitresses were sweet and obliging.

Great breakfast. Over medium eggs cooked properly with no loose white. Bacon also cooked perfectly. We will return for the great service.

Terrific little country diner that was well worth the 20 mile trip. We went for breakfast, our favorite meal of the day. We ordered the country fried steak breakfast, home fries, and biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy and a BLT with grits. The BLT was excellent. The toast and bacon were nice crisp. Just enough lettuce to add the taste and a slice of tomato that had a good flavor. Grits were cooked with the right combination of salt and pepper to give them a good taste. The country fried steak was a generous portion covered with country gravy. The biscuit with covered with the same gravy. The gravy had a good pepper flavor. The eggs were cooked as ordered.

I was traveling near Whitehouse TN today, and my wife and I enjoy local “meat and 3” diners, and this one sounded like it was worth a try.
First thing we were told, because of some construction or something, they didn’t have any daily meat and three specials that day. So we ordered off menu. I had a cheeseburger and Fries. They only have crinkle cut fries or homefries. I’m not a fan of crinkle cut fries, but I ordered them anyway.
The cheeseburger is handmade from fresh beef. It was very good. No complaints on the cheeseburger, but the fries spoiled the meal. I should have ordered the onion rings, they appearantly are handmade.
There are storage racks, ice machine, coolers, and such in the dining area which takes away from the ambiance. All in all it may have just been a bad day to visit.

Hard to know what to say about this place. We went in on a Saturday morning, waited for 10 minutes for a table before being told it’s first come first served, but when a table opened up and we made our way toward it, someone from another table moved over and claimed it. The staff have no system for taking names and assigning guests to a server or a section. Just sort of chaotic. So we left and went to Cracker Barrel. I guess the food must be good or they wouldn’t have been so busy. Too bad we didn’t get to experience it because of the lack of a good seating system.
