Terrific little country diner that was well worth the 20 mile trip. We went for breakfast, our favorite meal of the day. We ordered the country fried steak breakfast, home fries, and biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy and a BLT with grits. The BLT was excellent. The toast and bacon were nice crisp. Just enough lettuce to add the taste and a slice of tomato that had a good flavor. Grits were cooked with the right combination of salt and pepper to give them a good taste. The country fried steak was a generous portion covered with country gravy. The biscuit with covered with the same gravy. The gravy had a good pepper flavor. The eggs were cooked as ordered.

This is a great place to eat, sometimes a wait but people don’t mi d ya seating with em since most of the tables have more space than not. Great family atmosphere and the food is better than, you know, the other bfast place.

I have been in this area for over 10 years and passed by countless times. Today I finally stopped by and had a burger. I could smack myself for missing out on this hidden gem for so many years. I hope to go back for breakfast soon. Apparently the menu is new. Very friendly owner and staff. Definitely smalltown home feeling.

Best breakfast anywhere round here. Best service too. The atmosphere is like eating at your own dinner table surrounded by family at other tables. My favorite spot around.

We happened across this place because it was very near our eclipse observation point on Bowling Branch Road. In 2 days, we visited THREE times.

The burger was dry like it had been smashed the whole time Cook! Food sucked people and waiter didn’t! This is a true and first experience! Y’all could do much better by keeping the juices in the burger ..

This is my second visit, and each time the food and the service has been top notch. Very “down home”, which I like.
