We’ve been to P&F twice since the new owners took over. Breakfast was great and dinner tonight was delicious. Ordered a California Cheeseburger and Gyro with fries. Both very good and great prices. Our server Alex was so pleasant and helpful too. Will definitely return to try the other menu items.

It’s a very good diner–an old-fashioned kind. My first impression was that it seemed to service older clientele. I guess it’s understandable for being a traditional diner. I tried Weber…a cheese steak sandwich with lettuce and tomato. It was very tasty. I noticed it was under the new management. I wish this establishment lots of luck.

We read the reviews and were not sure if we needed a plan B for dining. Everything was terrific. The specials were good and the regular menu item was good.
I enjoyed seeing the jukebox at the table. It brought back memories. We played strangers in the night.
Service was great, food was great. Quakertown is lucky to have a quality diner.

NEW OWNERSHIP IS DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ordered lunch from here today for the first time in easily 8+ years and it was a 10/10. I had a crabcake sandwich, it was amazing. Affordable good quality food. Also to note, ever since the new owners took over, their parking lot has gone from a ghost town to progressively more packed with each passing week. Keep it up!!

very cozy spot AND one of the few true 24/7 diners left. always love going here with my friends, usually after bowing. food is great and cheap so a definite one by one, but our server kasey was absolutely phenomenal tonight, god bless her soul. she’s an extremely hardworker and a great person on top of it! 10/10 everything, never a bad experience here

OPEN 24 HOURS!
I stopped in late last night and they were open. It’s great to see a diner that is actually open 24/7 again, I didn’t realize how much I missed that.
The food and menu seemed to be improved as well.
If you love that classic diner feel this is the spot to go. New owners were friendly and ambitious about making it the best diner in the area again.

Always great when we come here! Never a complaint on our end. Usually come for breakfast late at night or for a good sandwich. Food is very affordable and staff is kind. One thing to note if getting soda, you will only get one free refill! Otherwise, definitely worth making the trip out here or stopping by if you’re in the area

First of all, I’m not sure if me and the fellow reviewers visited the same restaurant because from my experience, John’s Plain and Fancy Diner was one of the finest establishments in all of Pennsylvania. From the start, we were greeted by the exquisite decor around the restaurant and were then led to our booth by an incredible server, Sean. The service and ambiance of the diner was perfect and it was as a diner should be. Sean was very great at taking our orders and recommended us the cream of chicken and minestrone soup which were both delectable. Then we had a burger and gyro pita which also did not disappoint. Although we ordered lunch specials, the portions were fulfilling. To boot, every booth has a jukebox that plays all of your favorites from beach boys (rip Brian Wilson) to Rihanna. To finish our journey we had some milkshake which was evidently crafted with care by Sean. Can’t thank Sean enough for the incredible treatment which was the cherry on top to our dining experience at Plain and Fancy.

Really is a nice local diner with alot of patrons who Looked happy. Place was clean. food was ready in decent time and delicious. Friendly waitress but they were definitely short staffed One thing for the owner/owners is to have someone at the register always.I waited there with two other guys to pay literally 8 minutes. That’s was easily 100 bucks could of walked out the door. I dont want this place to lose their hard earned money. But I’d definitely come back again.
