I have never been to this restaurant although I have driven by it for years. Finally someone suggested that we go have dinner there. It smelled good and looked cozy, but I didn’t like the smoke indoors. All the smoke from the grill was inside the restaurant and we all walked out smelling like it. The beer selection was ok, the food was ok, we didn’t really get what we thought we ordered. Well, I was always curious about this place, now I know. :/

This has been my favorite restaurant in Mexicali for years and I finally got the chance to take my husband. He loved his food and so did I, as always. We even got to enjoy some piano that day. It was great and really special. Totally recommend this place.

The best was the Jamaica tacos, we ordered several appetizers and the grilled meat variety for 5 people, it was okay nothing was delicious as I expected it to be with the high rating. The drink we ordered was Jumex orange juice sold as fresh, not impressed with this as they are expensive drinks. My guests were happy with the food that’s why I gave it a 3 star rating.

I went with my family while Oktoberfest. Live music (mostly jazz), lots of people and it was great. We had a blast. Good service and very good food.

The Heidelberg was the most memorable restaurant my coworkers dined at in Mexicali. The aged beef was an especial favorite. The stained glass windows and the Bavarian interior and exterior look of the building seem authentic.

Good cuts of beef choices! Great selection of beer! The bar and the dining are separate for different atmospheres. If you have an electric car you can charge it in their parking lot.
