I have a lot to say about John’s Pizzeria, some positive and some criticisms. They have a lot of variety on their menu, and they are the only pizzeria on the block. The prices are higher than your typical NYC pizzeria but when you see the restaurant aspect of the place serving hot pastas and cooked dishes, you can see why they are charging the extra premium. I don’t classify it as a a pizzeria, it’s a restaurant. They also justify the price tag by sending out a healthy portion size, honestly one pasta dish is probably enough to feed 2-3 people. My biggest disappointment however, is in the freshness and quality of ingredients in the food we ordered. Nothing really tasted that good, and while yes they send a large portion of food in your meal, we had loads of extras because we didn’t really enjoy it. The Garlic Knots were more Iike garlic rolls, very dough with a very very light seer on the outside, not too much of a garlic taste. The pastas really were underwhelming, and you could really taste the lack of freshness. I think John’s is for the person that doesn’t want to go a little further out for a slice, it’s right in your neighborhood. Also for the family that wants to share a couple of entrees. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and a very welcoming atmosphere for families.

Pizza and service were excellent.
Stayed at a nearby hotel after a long road trip and didn’t want to deal with parking, so I ordered delivery. Seems like most places weren’t delivering to my hotel, but these guys made an exception which was awesome. Very friendly staff.
Pizza was very delicious – the crust was soft and flavourful; sauce was on point; and it was loaded with toppings (chicken and mushrooms). Unfortunately the pizza disappeared before I could get a picture.
Definitely recommend!

Ordered a pie at 6:25 pm I was told 30-40 minutes it didn’t come until 8:10pm! The pizza was cold my kids fell asleep waiting if you’re that busy please let the customer know and nobody wants cold pizza

I grew up eating John’s Pizza and although it’s changed hands several times, the current owners have done a good job keeping up the legacy. Great NYC thin crust pizza the way it’s supposed to taste, crunch, and chew. Great reliable neighborhood joint, I hope to be back!

The place looked unassuming when pulled up. Good selection of slices to pick from or they’ll make a custom one.
There were 5 of us so we tried a bunch of different slices and some pinwheels.
The food was good, the people are nice and the place was clean.

Absolutely delicious pizza! The true taste of New York. John’s Pizza in Queens is the kind of place you just want to come back to. The crust is perfect — thin and crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and the sauce is simply divine. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy, making it great for both family dinners and hanging out with friends. No wonder they have such a high rating on Google. Highly recommended for all real pizza lovers!

Clean take out and eat in pizza restaurant. Food is tasty, reasonable prices and courteous owners/ employees. Parking is tough at times is one negative. I usually get the grilled chicken salad or chicken parm. hero.

This is the best pizza I’ve had growing up! It’s delicious and nostalgic. I just love their cheese slice and that’s really the only thing I get here. I’ve passed down my love for John’s pizza to my babies and they’re always asking for it! Every time we’re here, we have to stop by.
