⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding gyros in Foley!

My girlfriend and I ate at John’s Gyros in Foley, and it was fantastic. We both ordered the gyro with cucumber sauce and feta, and it was packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and that creamy sauce that brings it all together.

I also got a side of fries, and they were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.

Simple menu, fast service, and seriously good food.
If you’re craving a gyro in Baldwin County, this place is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!

This place has been a staple in Foley for years. The food is fantastic every time, and nothing is rushed. The menu is limited, but everything is made well. The fries always come out crispy. The gyro with feta and cucumber sauce is my go to, and then usually top it off with piece of baklava. One of the best spots in town to grab a relaxing lunch.

Where’s John? Walked in near closing time. Door unlocked, food still out, nobody there. Yelled a few times. Nobody. Sat down at a table and called. Phone rang behind the counter. Nothing. Considered just making my own gyro but decided against it. Finally left as another guy came in who left behind me. John, you lost a couple sales there. Where were ya?

I’d never been to this place before or even heard of it until today, but I’m definitely going to be a regular from now on. WOW everything he serves is just amazing! Do make sure to try the stuffed grape leaves! And the guy who runs the place is truly one of the most charming gentlemen I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Best gyros in the south! Having searched everywhere down here for a decent gyro, I stumbled upon this place by accident to find that it is authentic and delicious! Up til now I only saw gyros on a menu at Arby’s and those are just RIDICULOUS. But these gyros are delightful! The tzatziki sauce was light yet flavorful and the lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the absolute best point of juicy, tender and tasty. The pits was warm. And it was made very quickly, so no long wait for your order. Eat in or to- go option. I will be back. Often!

This Gyro magic kingdom in a little old house on the corner of Orange and Alston in Foley, AL is worth finding. Best Gyro I’ve ever had. You might have to wait a minute because they have a small, old fashioned kitchen and lots of customers, but it will be worth the wait, I promise. And, even the fries were to die for! Don’t know what seasoning he sprinkled on them, but it worked!

A small hole in the wall a friend pointed me too. The building is admittedly old and the inside is a bit unorganized, but don’t let that hold you back from one of the best gyro’s I’ve ever had. Drinks look to only be available in a can with limited choice so maybe bring your own drink if you don’t want to roll the dice.

The staff was really nice, would recommend checking it out if you have a hankering for a gyro!

Too much feta and not enough meat would have liked more tomato than lettuce?

So as I am eating my food I start to read some reviews. I found this place on accident but wow it really was good. The staff was not rude in anyway not the most outgoing but dang sure not rude and this was by far the best Gyro I have had in Baldwin county. I will definitely be back again keep up the excellent work.
