Our friend treated us to lunch at John’s today. We enjoyed the food and service very much. I’m gluten free (sensitive not celiac so can do traces) so I wasn’t sure what I could have. I asked if the orange tofu could be made without breading. The server was very helpful and went to check in the kitchen. They were able to accommodate my request and they got the tofu surprisingly crispy without the breading. I enjoyed it very much!
The server and other staff were so sweet. Our friend didn’t end up liking what she ordered (personal preference) and they offered multiple times to make her something else. She declined, she wasn’t upset just didn’t care for that particular dish. She knew it wasn’t their fault. We appreciated how kind and thoughtful everyone was. Our server was very sweet and checked on us several times throughout the meal and took care of everything we wanted, often without us needing to ask.
Several of our friends have said how much they like John’s. And now we can see why! I hope to go back again soon!

The food and service is truly amazing. I watched but I can only believe to be the owner serve people their food and to serve them with an amazing smile. The atmosphere is a little dated but don’t let that deter you from the outstanding service and food.

We read the reviews on the website and decided to try. We ordered three lunch specials and were blown away at how great the size and quality was! I had to pickup at the drive through and was watching them cook some deep fried food, I didn’t realized was the chicken on my order, talk about FRESH COOKED. Hot, fresh and delicious!!!!!! We will definitely return! Again always hot and fresh and look at the PORTIONS!!!! CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!

Eh, I’ve had much better. Bland. Half of the food I ordered was not actually what I ordered. The menu doesn’t reflect the actual ingredients and there were mushrooms in one of the meals that was not mentioned on the menu, so my family member with a mushroom allergy had to trade meals with me. Neither of us got what we wanted. Bummer.

Found another little gem here in keizer. Their food is very authentic staff is very friendly. You can request the food super spicy and man do they add a kick to it. We loved it here and will be coming back again.

Discovered this spectacular restaurant at the start of the pandemic and it’s been our favorite Chinese food ever since. The Chicken fried rice is delicious and has bean sprouts in it Their chicken chow mein is great and has the biggest pieces of chicken. We have NEVER been disappointed with any of the dishes we’ve ordered from John’s Chinese restaurant!!
