I recently visited Johnny’s Tavern in Topeka and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

I had them fish and chips with southern Cajun tartar sause and a side of homemade chili. The fish tasted so good and the breading was just delightful. The service was good with friendly company. Don’t know why I haven’t ate here sooner

We hosted our annual Christmas party there. Mychal, the store manager, was completely accommodating in planning our event. Gracie was our server. We originally set up the meeting vent for 25. We had a great turnout out of 31. Gracie killed it. Drinks and food came out crazy fast. And the food was fantastic. I highly recommend for a large group or party.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. The service was definitely subpar. Our server was very inattentive, unprofessional and didn’t seem to care about us as he only seemed to care about his tip. At the end of our meal. He stood there as he tapped my card on his card reader and clapped his hands together as I was selecting the tip. The lack of professionalism is mind-blowing. I highly recommend taking this as a training opportunity.

Went to Johnny’s on a Monday at 8:30pm to watch the game. Despite their hours being posted both on their front door as well as their website as open until midnight, they had locked their doors and closed up shop.
Sorry, but I can’t endorse a place that doesn’t stay true to their hours. Their food is also overpriced and underwhelming. Do not recommend when there are much better places to go and for cheaper.

Sunday late afternoon arrival, not busy. The food was fresh and hot. The server was friendly. Two Tank 7 burgers ordered. Each needed more sauce. I was charged 2 extra dollars for extra sauce. That made me upset, fill like I was charged for ketchup. Won’t be going back anytime soon, there are other places eat.
Dinner wasn’t cheap, but the restaurant is.

Had a great experience here! Our drinks were delicious (not too fruity). I couldn’t decide what to get so I asked the waitress to surprise me, nothing with ketchup or pickles and no pizza. She brought me a Buffalo chicken wrap (something I never would’ve ordered) and it was AMAZING! 10/10 recommend this place!

I had to buy a bottle of their signature sauce, it’s just the right amount of everything., a little spice too it, but it evened out, to the perfect barbecue sauce. .. The atmosphere was very lively, as a sports bar should be, when we first arrived, they gave us a buzzer, and said that it would be about twenty five minutes before we were seated but actually ended up taking less then that, Now I m not much of a diehard sports fanatic, but this nice take my word.

My friends and I go there a lot for our weekly pizza and wings. The drinks are good and the staff is great, we’ve never had any bad experiences in the years we have been going.
