Had heard people say their potato soup was good so that’s what I ordered. It is a decent restaurant potato soup but they need fresher crackers because the ones I got were stale and took away from the potato soup, my fault I should have tried them before I put them in my soup. I didn’t care for the deep fried mushrooms but that might just be a personal preference. My husband got the ravioli which he said was fine. The inside of the restaurant is decorated cute and looked clean.

From the outside, it seems like it would be white linens and black tie …we didn’t visit here for the first 3 years we lived here because of that. This is really another great little locally owned diner. The inside is packed with loyal patrons who knew this already, and now we know too! Great food, friendly staff!!

We stopped for dinner while driving through Union, MO. What an unexpected gem! The food was delicious and the service was the kind of friendly that makes you feel like a regular. I had the prime rib sandwich on their homemade French bread and fries. It was fantastic and is just as good the next day for lunch.

Our server was great. The restaurant is very clean and openly spaced tables. The food was not as good as previous visits. Pasta was okay, not as great as before, and the plating was sloppy. The olive oil and bread appetizer was not at all like we’ve had in the past. The bread was small pieces and tough, and the olive oil mixture was really lacking.

3.5 stars really. Why? It’s a good hometown Italian restaurant, nothing spectacular, just good food at a good price. Service is friendly, but sometimes slow. Decor is dated and booth seating is really worn.
