Ordered through door dash. Chicken Alfredo with chicken. Didn’t receive any chicken, barely any sauce on the noodles. Highly disappointed! I had to doctor it up for it to be edible! Never again!

It has been so nice to have a Johnny’s near the house because the Pizza and Wings at the Sugarloaf location has been a wonderful Friday Night luxury. The new spot opened about 2 years ago but struggled with quality. But I must say, as of 2025, it is the Pizza spot in the Gwinnett; yes better than Mellow Mushroom in Suwanee. The service and quality food have improved over the last 2 years whereas it is our game day spot for Pizza. The addition of bourbon tasting has made the spot one of our favorites for food and upscale tastings. We recently had a veggie large with pepperoni and it was absolutely the “bomb!” If you have a taste for pizza and wings, we highly recommend. The tastings are typically the last Tuesday of every month and the owner has really tried to share the best (Pappa Winkle, Weller, etc.) with locals who love Bourbon.

Want to love it but unless you love a jungle gym daycare on weekend nights- stay away. They cater to unsupervised groups of young children that run around like they should be at the gym. One child spit in front of our table. They were throwing these sticky balls way in the air all over right in front of our table/ zero care. It was nice outside / they could have gone out on the patio in order to not have been so rude to dining customers or here’s a real shocker- maybe teach kids how to behave inside a restaurant. Such an awful experience. It’s a bar for crying out loud.

First time ordering here and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.

We placed a simple takeout order (two pepperoni pizzas, garlic bread, and lasagna). While waiting inside, we watched multiple customers who arrived after us receive their food and leave. After a long wait, the manager apologized and explained there was a kitchen mistake, offered a refund, and said our order would be ready in about 10 minutes. We appreciated the apology and understood that mistakes happen.

However, we continued waiting and again watched other customers come and go. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, we approached the counter only to see our order being put together at that moment. That was extremely frustrating, especially after being told the issue had already been addressed.

The lack of communication and follow-through made us feel overlooked and discriminated, which is disappointing—particularly for a first visit. While we appreciate the refund, the experience left a bad impression and makes it hard to return after being disrespected.

How is this place still open?

Tried to give this place another chance (after swearing to myself that I would NEVER be back) and I’m absolutely aggravated that I did.
How many times does the owner need to be told that his ovens are FILTHY and to clean the place up?
There’s nothing that the owner can say at this point to defend himself.
All he does is leave canned responses to all the reviews anyway.
The bottom of the pizza is covered in disgusting chunks of filth. The pizza tastes like chlorine and charcoal. You can see for yourself. There’s no cheese, there’s no sauce. (Has he run out of money? Everyone is saying the same things.)

I don’t understand how they are still in business at this point. Where is the heath department? That’s right, they don’t see the food served.

Everyone that I’ve ever spoke to about this location says they’ve tried it and will never be back. They have said that they’ve posted reviews here and on Nextdoor. The owner apologizes like it’s the first time he’s ever heard it, and does nothing about it.

I was excited when I saw that Johnny’s pizza moved into Buford. We used to drive to the Spout Springs location multiple times a month until 2019. Then we started going to Vinny’s. Vinny’s was closed tonight and we wanted pizza while we watched the ball game. This was more than a mistake on my part.

This location needs to close and another pizza place needs to go in. It’s obvious the owner doesn’t care and I don’t see how he’s not making people sick.

I took two bites and that was IT!

Don’t take my word for it – pictures don’t lie.
I should have taken more photos before throwing it out. When I took them, I wasn’t thinking about leaving a review. I took the photos to text someone else – to show what they served us. Response: “That’s really gross. You’re right they haven’t changed one bit. How are they still open? You need to leave them a review on Google” so here it is.

Photos are of what was supposed to be just your normal “large cheese pizza”. Where is the cheese and sauce? GROSS

DISGUSTED.

This is absolutely the thinnest pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. It’s so thin you can practically see through it, and I needed two hands to pick it up. Complaint about it, and I was told this is “corporate standards.” If that the case you will never eating at any of their restaurants. The flavor profile is similar to New York’s style, but this is not New York pizza by any means.

My husband loves pizza and this place did not disappoint! We went during lunchtime and we were immediately seated. The pizza was hot and they did not skimp on the toppings. Our server was very polite and attentive. We will definitely visit again.

I ordered takeout and received 3 burned pizzas. We have usually been pleased with the food and service at Johnny’s but today was very disappointing. All three were barely edible and were black on the bottom with black places on top with large bubbles.

Used to be really good but the last few times ive had food delivered its been terrible. Everything is burnt and over cooked, pasta is overcooked and mushy, containers not closed all the way so the sauce spills out in the bag, and twice in a row now they forgot my salad. Terrible. Usually order from here every friday but now im going to be ordering from somewhere else
