I ordered a slice of Johnny’s Deluxe and the Veggie Deluxe. They were both outstanding. I appreciated the green olives on the Veggie Deluxe. The crust was very good was very “New York”. Impressed.

During my short stay in Atlanta, I stopped by Johnny’s Pizza for a classic New York style fix. The all-meat calzone blew me away with the perfectly buttery crust with garlic and melty cheese that hit every note. I also grabbed a slice of steak and cheese and a pepperoni slice; both were delicious with no complaints at all. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. 10/10 without a doubt, and I’d definitely go back.

Cool little spot in the corner. The atmosphere is that of a diner. To be honest, I have a cold and was expecting to walk in to the smells of roasted garlic and don’t know if that was the case. I ordered the Italian calzone and judging by the picture, I must have liked it. All and all the food was good and the service was good. Would do it again.

OhEmGeeeeeee!!! Anytime I’m in Hapeville I have to stop by Johnny’s. This location is my absolute favorite. It’s always clean, the service is above standard, and best of all, the food is AMAZING!!!!
When you walk in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a neighborhood favorite. The design is simple yet fun and there is ample space so feeling crowded isn’t a thing. Clean tables. Clean floors. And best of all, a clean kitchen area.
This visit I decided to do takeout. I went to the counter, placed my order, and had a seat at the bar until my order was ready.
As always, as soon as I walk into Johnny’s I am constantly conflicted on if I want Pizza or a Calzone. You don’t understand, everything at Johnny’s is soooooooooooo good. I want it alllllllllllll. However, due to me trying to unbig my back, I can’t do it.
This time I decided on the

Everything was fresh. It had the perfect bread to filling ratio. This is important as too much bread or not enough bread or filling can ruin the entire experience. However, Johnny’s NEVER fails and the Italian Special was spot on.
Meaty Pepperoni, well seasoned sausage, fresh mushrooms, perfectly sized onion & green peppers and the seasoned ricotta & mozzarella cheese hit perfectly and brought the entire experience to life.
Now, me being me… I had to smother it in Parmesan Cheese… don’t judge me!

I drove from Riverdale. I kept hearing how great the pizza was so I made it my business to explore 9/18. I was definitely NOT disappointed. . The pizza slices were absolutely delicious. The customer service was also top tier. Anthony took my order and he was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of what I toppings were being offered. I am definitely coming back to try other items.

Guys, I was WORN OUT from searching for an amazing dining experience based on location. I was staying at an airport hotel … I gotta know my worth, right? I saw the signage from Johnnys like a beacon to simple, carby goodness. This looks good. This looks fast. I walk in — the beautiful angel at the Pick Up Counter KNEW WHAT TO ASK and she was quick, efficient and probably sent from God to know that I wanted pizza and I wanted it now. I had interacted SO MUCH today, I just wanted a slice, right. This angelic creature was great at reading the room. When I needed to order and be left alone for a second, she did that. When I asked for a brunch recommendation for the next morning, SHE DELIVERED and got the other guys on staff involved. It felt like an Agatha Christie novel but instead of figuring out who killed a guy, it was who could get THIS GAL (me) the best brunch experience this side of Atlanta. Landon recommended this. Tall cute guy recommended that. And Angel at the cashier facilitated a conversation that she could have easily disregarded… but she made me feel heard. THAT is a leader. I never got her name. But she really has something in her to lead a team. I pray she knows her worth, and how she commanded the room. Lord bless a man that crosses her. I hope she becomes the next president.

For a chain, this location is the best I’ve been to. Great staff, great food and laid back atmosphere. They didnt mind our 5 year olds running on steam and twirling in the corner. (It was a long day at the zoo )
