As I looked around, I saw papers on the floor, food and food crumbs that had not been removed from the seats that prior customers were in.
I thought that the young ladies were just behind on cleaning because they may have had a big rush or party in the place.
My waitress came immediately and took my order. She was pleasant. No complaints about her.
Aa im sitting waiting for my food, I looked at a couple that had just finished eating. I saw a young lady who was their waitress go to the table and removed the glass and accompanying items. She sprayed the table, and wiped the crumbs into the both seat and some of the food on the floor. So I’m thinking she’s going to wipe out the seat and sweep the floor. Nooo! She started talking with another one of the female staff and left the seat and floor with the food on it. She was so lacks at how she cleaned the table. It still had food crumbs on the table and she was more interested in talking to her coworker rather than cleaning up as she should.
Now my pizza arrives and I take a bite of the first slice and it was fair. Went in on the second slice and a really sour taste filled my mouth and immediately I had to spit out what I had in my mouth. Something was wrong with the toppings and the dough. Lost my appetite and I immediately waved for the check. Really bad experience won’t be back.
On the way out I observed one of the workers sitting on the counter that looks into the kitchen. Not sure if that’s allowed.
Train , retrain and reiterate that a clean establishment will keep customers coming back along with good food.
To make matters worse, one of them even commented, “I don’t even know how people are still eating after Thanksgiving,” which came across as judgmental and unnecessary. Instead of creating a friendly atmosphere, their negativity made the entire visit uncomfortable.
It’s disappointing because the food deserves better representation. A good pizza can’t make up for horrible customer service. I hope management addresses this issue because the attitude at the counter is driving away what could be loyal customers.
I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with garlic bread. Appetizer Garlic Knots. The food was tasty. Although, I like my Alfredo a bit thicker and not runny. The garlic knots were good. The only downfall is service was so slow. We went on our lunch hour and it took about 40 minutes to get our food. Slowness is a reason I wouldn’t go back. They were not crowded when we were there. This not my actual food pics I ate it too fast This is what I had though. The atmosphere was that of a pizza place. Nothing spectacular but it was clean.
That said, the gentleman who assisted us provided excellent customer service he was respectful, attentive, and made our visit pleasant from a hospitality standpoint.
This was my third time dining at a Johnny’s, though my first visit to this particular location. I recall the other two experiences being more enjoyable in terms of flavor, although it has been a while, so I may be remembering them more fondly.
Unfortunately, this time the meal fell short for me, and I didn’t end up finishing my food. Still, I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and I’m not ruling them out just yet. I may give this location another try in hopes that it was simply a one time miss.
I came during lunch hours and I ordered from the lunch menu one slice of pizza and a garden salad $8.99 I added an extra item on my pizza and a drink
The garden salad was a nice size everything was good I got full on a empty stomach
I thank them for the good service
