The food is really good. The best is the Riverside burger; there is a strong reason why it is the best seller. The other delicious option is the California burger if you are feeling experimental. The blue cheese adds a unique flavor to it and it is very delicious. Would definitely recommend trying this place if burgers are a must grab thing

The food was not as great as people say it is. It’s dry not even flavor just dry. And not to mention how dirty the place was it was filthy from the tables to the floor. The cashiers had such a bad attitude like they don’t want to work there yet they are PAID to do their work. If you don’t want to work there then don’t. Management needs to ensure they greet people properly and formally. The girl with blonde hair who works there was so rude to the people who were with me. Messing up my to go order and putting it on the tray. When I asked if she can put it in the bag as to go she turned around with an attitude, rolled her eyes, and put the food in the bag. Not to mention she didn’t ask if I wanted condiments. The other girl was mad when I asked her if my order came with a drink after being charged. She placed it very mad on the counter, turned around and rolled her eyes while relieving a huge sigh. I will not be coming back if this issue isn’t solved.

I’ve always loved Johnny’s!! I got a bacon cheez it was delicious, the onion rings as always!! My complaint is with the “steak” sandwich and the zucchinis. The steak sandwich was suuuuuper thin and chewy. The zucchinis were old or just not a good batch. The staff was all friendly and very professional. I’ll be back

Been in riverside all my life and enjoyed Johnny’s in the plaza when it came in….but now it seems it under new ownership as the receipt says Better Burgers and honestly there not meeting the standard of their name…..they have the some of the same menu items which I was happy to see my Johnny’s california burger with blue cheese on it and when I received today I got almost half way thru the burger realizing there was no blue cheese in it….when asked about it they said it’s small crumbles not a slice (duh bro)….I told him if blue cheese was in the burger I wouldn’t be asking about….I mean blue cheese is pretty strong taste to not notice….wasn’t happy with the response from the cool who prepared it…kinda made me feel like I was tellng a story….I mean why would I come in a say something….I didnt ask for it to made again, didnt ask for a refund…just wanted to make sure they were aware of how the menu items were made so it didnt happen again…..sad when people by a name of an establishment and dont follow thru on delivering the same great experience…..and on top of all that they didnt put regular cheese on my friends burger and charged them…smh

This is a pretty small establishment but offer sitting indoors. The cashier was friendly, too. They offer a variety of sandwiches and they have a tasty chili burger. I wish they would disinfect tables or at least clean them, the table where we sat was sticky and had crumbs all over. Going back to the food, their chili is good and the portions are huge. If you want to get the chili cheesefries and burger know that it will be a lot of food.

Was in the area and wanted to try something new stopped by Johnny’s and decided to get the bulgoi burger and oh heavens was it good but be4 that the cashier was friendly and it was packed but they got our food out in a relatively short time and again OH HEAVENS WAS IT DELIGHTDUL 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Good burger place. I usually get a turkey burger or black bean burger like I did today. If you’ve never tried the black bean burger, try it! This was the first place I ever tried a black bean burger (years and years ago) and it blew my mind how delicious it was.
The fries here are always good. Some places use too much salt or seasoning and Johnny’s doesn’t have this problem.

The young Latina cashier said in a light voice, “I’ll help the next person.” She had her head/face down throughout my interaction with her. I wasn’t sure she was even referring to me when I approached the counter a few seconds thereafter. No greeting whatsoever. I was waiting for a “May I help you? Can I take your order?” Something so finally I ordered the Pacific Island burger (AKA Hawaiian burger), it was good but the buns where larger than the small burger patty – this is why I gave them one star. The dinning area: tables/floor were dirty. Executive Management: train associates to value customers & do a better job in quickly cleaning-up your small establishment. Maybe pay your employees a higher wage than minimum; this usually works & does the job. Take the example of some of your competitors such as IN-N-OUT Burger. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
