Had an amazing experience at Johnny Tamales! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a family night out or dinner with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food came out hot and flavorful. The chips and salsa were a great start, and the fajitas and Balita plate we ordered were cooked perfectly with bold Tex-Mex flavors. This place has quickly become one of our go-to spots for delicious Mexican cuisine.

came here on a weekday for friends dinner and absolutely loved it! The ambiance has a very authentic and overall clean feel. And the food was undoubtedly delicious, a huge plus that halal options are offered! Tried the mixed fajitas, fajita nachos, and enchiladas. The portions were perfect as well.

We came here for my daughter’s birthday and had so much fun. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was so friendly. Our waitress Heizel and the manager Armando were so sweet and provided great service. We only eat halal so finding a place where they have lots of options and the staff is mindful is a dream come true. We ordered the mixed fajitas, chicken quesadillas, and stuffed avocados. All of the dishes were halal and they were so good. We will definitely be coming back.

I saw this place was recently built in my city. I had to give it a try. Started with the tortilla chips which came with the Red & green sauce. I tried the chicken enchiladas with the cilantro rice 1st. Very well seasoned and cheesy. My favorite dish was the combination fajitas nachos. This came with chicken & beef fajitas. It was clean,quiet and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Delicious halal options for chicken fajitas and beef! The food is perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and nicely spicy. They serve complimentary nachos and salsa to start, and everyone gets free soft-serve ice cream at the end. Easily one of the best spots for Mexican food. highly recommend!

Food was very salty. It didn’t taste as if it was cooked from scratch but more like out of prepared food containers. I had the chicken taco and beans.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere! The day we visited happened to be karaoke night, which made the experience even more fun. The music was great, and we really enjoyed the lively vibe.
The service was outstanding. Our busser was incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive—he noticed we had finished our green salsa and brought us more without us even having to ask. Our waiter was just as kind and welcoming. It’s always wonderful to see young men demonstrating such great manners and exceptional customer service. I had to ask the two young men for their names I believe it was Michael and Brad.

We tried Johnny Tamales again after taking a long break from the place. We were surprised to find the original service, food & atmosphere had returned. Our server was wonderful & friendly. The food was fantastic. Our meat was cooked perfectly. (SO GOOD!) The atmosphere was great! Yay!!!! We’re back!

First time experience was amazing. The fajitas were so delicious. The service was A++. We had the pleasure of having Omer as our server who was very accommodating, polite, and full of positive energy. Not once he felt irritated at my 2 year old tantrums which is why I really appreciate his patience with us. But overall the food was delicious and looking forward to visiting there again.
