Excellent wings! Nice and crunchy! All of us in the group got the wings which was wing night. All different sauces from spicy to mild, wet and dry sauces. Really neat to pick your sides fries to a bag of chips. Can’t beat that. Definitely a popular place it was packed and steadily busy. We sat outside because it was beautiful and quiet which was great for us.

Our waiter was really great, checked in on us throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was definitely high vibe and uplifting. I look forward to returning soon.

I have never been to Johnny shots before and I decided to take a group of 15 of my coworkers, When I called to make a reservation, the staff told me the manager would have to get back in touch with me the next day. I didn’t get a call back so I did call again to make the reservation. I feel like that process should be streamlined. Upon arrival, I walked in and it was very busy and it says please seat yourself, So I had to stand and look around for a waiter to ask about my reservation. I ended up going to sit at the bar and waited until somebody approached me so I could figure that out it was actually very unfortunate because there was a huge birthday party there that took over almost an entire of one of the rooms. There was a very nice table set up in which they told me that would not be my table. They decided to make a makeshift table in the area of the pool tables so we had to duck and dodge pool sticks the entirety of our time. The setting of the tables was not normal so we couldn’t see everybody and instead of having normal chairs they gave us the small stools that came with the pool area. Which was fine we made do by squishing seven of us on one side of three small tables, it was just kind of frustrating if they didn’t have the space to accommodate us we would’ve just went somewhere else and I wish they would’ve just told us that. It made for a very poor experience. I have never eaten at Johnny shots, so I decided to order the Beria tacos and mac & cheese We did have to wait quite some time for our food and when an order came up, I didn’t realize it was mine because these Birria tacos were literally white flour tacos, no melted cheese and a small amount of beef At that point, I was pretty frustrated so I decided I didn’t want to eat these random tacos that were played off to be Beria tacos so at that moment, I showed the waitress a picture of what they should look like a fried pan taco with melted cheese, and that the tortillas should be dipped in consume. At that point, the waitress said, she totally understood. Took my food back to which the manager re-approached me asking me why I wouldn’t just try them to which I then let her know those are not berria tacos and I showed her a photo and instead of just accepting what I said, she tried to argue with me saying those are hard shell tortillas and I said no they’re not. They are soft tortillas that are pan fried, then she asked me if I at least tried the consume I again said no the meal wasent what I ordered and said well this is our best seller. I just don’t understand when I explain the first time what was wrong that somebody else had to come and then argue with me about tacos that clearly we’re not Beria tacos. If you have had Beria tacos, you can clearly see There’s a huge difference in expectation. Anyway, so I did not order anything else because it took so long to get our order in the first place. I did have some of the mac & cheese, but it was also gross. I know it sounds like I am a complete complainer, but truly, I am not. I feel like that night They did not have the staff to be able to handle our reservation. I feel like they overbooked. The food was misrepresented and the argument was just ridiculous. very disappointing. We will not be back.

Service was very quick and friendly which was appreciated since I wasn’t there for the game!
My sandwich was great. A fair amount of meat and over all placement so every bite had great taste. I wasn’t a fan of the onion rings. I was hoping they would have some kind of seasoning on them and be the flaky kind of breading. These were just the generic, buy from the supermarket variety. Next time I’ll try the fries as my friend fries, looked great.
I’ll definitely be back as there is so much more I want to try on the menu and my misguided son is a Lions fan and wants to watch a game in that environment.

Went recently and the menu has been revamped. Some exciting additions so I figured I would try the Birria nachos. Well, they’re simply ground beef nachos with the traditional fixings, nothing like my expectation when it comes to Birria, especially as they have Birria tacos on the menu now. So it just ended up misleading me into buying average nachos.
The service was also not incredible, but that’s harder to critique when the server is stretched thin. She ended up getting us the wrong drinks which was rectified but the drinks did take forever to come in the first place.
I’ve been to Shotz many times and would still go again, but maybe I’ll stick to the good old menu favourites and not try to delve into the unknown yet familiar.

I’ve enjoyed coming here on previous occasions. The pool tables are always being used by fun people who are ready to share them. Usually the bands play good danceable songs. Many people celebrate their birthdays here and that adds to the fun vibe. The food is passable for a pub, but the menus are more extensive at so many other local places. This Friday night the service was slow even though there wasn’t much of a crowd. (Lately Fridays are an off night everywhere, because people are only going out on Saturdays due to the post-Covid economy.)

Extremely Disrespectful Treatment Toward Delivery Drivers
This restaurant, Johnny Shotz, treats delivery drivers very poorly — almost like we’re not even human. I waited over 15 minutes, and the waitress didn’t even bother to ask if I was there for a food pickup. She simply placed the food on the table and walked away without saying a word. When I asked about the order number, she ignored me completely and left, while other customers were watching. It was humiliating.
If this restaurant doesn’t respect delivery drivers, then they shouldn’t be offering online delivery at all. We spend our time waiting there to help deliver food to their own customers. There’s no proper standing area, and the staff show zero courtesy or professionalism.
Would they treat a paying customer this way if they came to pick up their food in person? Absolutely unacceptable. Shame on this location for such disrespectful behavior

Good, quick food. Brought the kids for dinner and a game of pool. Ordered veggie nachos, PB burger, kids chicken tenders and kids cheeseburger. Everything came out quickly. We all enjoyed our food. Good night out!

Service for 2 birthdays they got there dinner last and appetizers came out with dinners should been served first also drinks were not kept up we all finished eating and one dinner was forgotten seen left by the bar area getting coldwe had to pay and leave brother’s burger was forgotten his 60th we cancelled his dinner we left to Bourbon get his burger where we were served promptly as service was poor at Johnny shotz for a table of 20 should been focusing on our table having reservations no condiments we had to take off other tables and the noise of no music at all to enjoy eating just hockey loud noises it was disturbing we all agreed never to return to this establishment we told Bourbon our experience and even paid for our first round and football game was on for superbowl wild card it was a lot more fun and not with alot of kids running around and service was better at bourbon They lost 20 customers all said they never return I’m embarrassed booking reservations as I live a few blocks away and work close by very disappointing to see a server not properly trained as was too overwhelming large tables for her we felt very badly she went through this
