Really cool old place with very friendly staff
I got a chocolate malt and some mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce.
If the sauce was any good this would have been a 5 star visit.
The sauce tasted odd and I ended up eating the sticks dry to avoid it.
Very affordable though, so I don’t feel I wasted a stop
Would definitely return to try the burgers and chicken next time

From a distance, this burger shop looks like it would be a solid choice. Unfortunately, my experience did not match that expectation. I regret spending $26 on a two burger, fries, and a drink. Both the burger and fries lacked any noticeable seasoning, leaving them very bland. Ironically, the ketchup and mayo provided more flavor than the burger itself. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend stopping here for food.

Great American Diner. Clean and welcoming. It’s small with booths and an awesome counter. Simple but great menu. Cooked as you wait. Drive through rocks also. We did both. The Steak Burgers, fries and shakes are fantastic. I highly recommend. I have over 15 million views on my reviews. We give Johnny Rays Drive In 5 stars.

Standard menu. The steak burger had the flat, crispy edges. Yummy! The bun could have been less tall. Fries were also good. Our server worked the counter as well as the booths, but was able to be attentive without being a bother. The bathroom was clean, though oddly placed so that you walked the edge of the kitchen to get there. And there were no paper towels or even a dispenser for them.

I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with grilled onions, onion rings, a coke and then a medium cherry shake for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and brought out quickly (we didn’t have to wait long) This was a great experience with really outstanding service. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a change from regular fast food. They also have a drive thru and a Mr. Pac-Man arcade game inside.

Wonderful, fast & courteous service! My burger reminded me of one’s my dad would cook out on the grill & had so much flavor! I loved the butterscotch shake, too. Everything else was average… nothing negative at all. I would definitely go back!

We just went in drive thru on the way home to warrensburg and the burger was huge and super filling but it could’ve used more cheese. The burger needed mayo. The speaker at the drive-thru seemed a bit out dated. We had a super delicious jalapeno Mozzarella stick order I wish there would’ve been a large side of this. We got corn nuggets and to our surprise mini corn dogs. The corndogs were basic and we didn’t even order them so we ended up basically wasting them. We waited in line for 20 minutes. So we didn’t really want to go back to get the issue fixed.
