I was craving nachos so badly I was willing to walk 2 miles by myself with a disability to eat some at this restaurant. At first glance I was disappointed when I saw the nachos were served with yellow cheese instead of white. However! The service and quality of my food absolutely blew me away. I was seated right away in a spotlessly clean and comfortable dining room. My waitress, Suzanne (Susanna?) was exceptionally attentive and personable as well as a man whose name I did not get but he may be the manager. The chicken tasted a lot like Chipotle’s chicken (which I love) and the toppings were very fresh. Also, everything came out really fast. Overall, this was definitely worth the journey and now I’m in a food coma.

We still outside y’all and celebrating our daughter’s graduation. She wanted to go to this place today for Mother’s Day and our final day of being in the city to celebrate her college graduation.
Chris greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. We decided to sit outside and he was all too happy to oblige. Andre came outside to assist as well and was equally pleasant and attentive. They both made sure we had everything we needed.
We were famished and ordered Guacomole and Queso with chips for starters. My daughter and I (twinsies) also ordered Margaritas on the rocks with Tahine on the rim. It was too lit!
For the entree my husband ordered a variety of their tacos, my son ordered Nachos Libre and my daughter and I ordered the Fajita Rice Bowl with a mix of Governator Shrimp and Blackened Shrimp .
My husband’s plate looked delectable with the variety of tacos he ordered. My son’s plate of nachos looked so clean and so good I was about ready to grab the plate and run up the street eating it. My daughter and my rice bowl was so delicious it was ridiculous. I told them they need to put my daughter and my variation of the Fajita Rice Bowl on the menu and name it the A-Team Travels Bowl.
Our appetizers were delicious as well. The Guacomole was so good we ordered another bowl and I KNOW good Guacomole because I myself make some delicious Guacomole. The Queso was very flavorful and just the right consistency. The chips were the perfect accompaniment to it all.
After speaking to the manager Ethan we found out they were offering a Mother’s Day special of 50% off of their meal and you can rent space to throw an event with no rental fee you just pay for food and drinks. You can book online to reserve the space.
The restaurant is located in a really cool and eclectic part of town where you’re sure to have a great time. The inside is full of charm and features a full bar and various levels of seating options.
Needless to say the food was delicious, the staff was great and the restaurant and outdoor seating options were fun. We had a great time and it was just what was needed before we headed back home and left our baby girl in DC. Check them out and don’t forget to order the “A-Team Travels” Bowl. It’s EVERYTHING!!! Had an amazing experience March 8th at Johnny Pistolas. We had a reservation for 1:45PM fpr two. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be an AMAZING experience. The host was also our server. She was training another person. He was polite as well. She explained that the menu would be a guided tour and it did not disappoint. Our only request was that each dish prepared be at the correct temperature.
The dining experience was GREAT. The brunch selections were hot and delicious. The guacamole was the best we have had in a long time. The unlimited mimosa’s were a win as well. I can’t wait to dine there again. ONE RECOMMENDATION: IF THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS IN THE PARTY THAT ARE CHOOSING NOT TP DRINK ALCOHOL. THEY SHOULD STILL BE OFFERED THE UNLIMITED BRUNCH AT AN ADJUSTED PRICE WITH UNLIMITED NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. I ASK AND WASN’T OFFERED THAT OPTION.

Love the spot! Do anything with music. They have two separate areas. One side has live music and it has games and the other side has tables for you to have conversations with your buddies. They had amazing music and this place is more of a beer place. Bartenders are really nice.

Downstairs was a vibe! The bartender at the main bar and the one in Riff Raff were amazing. Upstairs was a different story. The DJ was cool and took requests. The short guy at the bar upstairs in the dance area was a buzz kill. His attitude was so cringey and off putting we immediately left. No people skills and should work elsewhere.

We recently had our son’s college graduation party at Johnny Pistolas and everything was fantastic. The food was really good and it was a buffet style with plenty of options. Nick and the staff were very helpful with setup including our music and a slideshow that was shown on all of the screens and even a projector over the bar area. The space was large enough for people to dance while still having areas to sit. Price was very reasonable especially for DC area. Would highly recommend for events. The location was also really cool as well.

I held my father’s 70th birthday celebration brunch yesterday and all I have to say is amazing. From the planning and preparation with Nick to the event day, everything went so smooth. The staff were awesome. The food was great. I was so surprised that parking was a piece of cake. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special.
