Our server was new & in training but she was one of the best I’ve ever ever had. The young lady training her was wonderful also. Very friendly & attentive…great personality. Got the chicken bowtie pasta & it was fantastic!! I ate so much of the delicious warm bread while waiting I barely ate any though. Ordered the tiramisu for dessert to go & ended up eating 1/2 of it before I got home! Sooooo good, totaling my top 5 favorites…ever! Very pleasant dining experience & I will definitely be returning soon!

Great place for Happy Hour! We wandered in here one time to check it out and found all day happy hour! Really nice little afternoon date spot with fairly tasty food. Wouldn’t say it’s 5 star by any means, but it’s good, it’s fun, and the happy hour prices make it affordable enough to have a good time. Servers are always friendly and attentive.

The service was very good, our waitress was so sweet but unfortunately the food was just not good at all especially for the price. We had a group of 4 and we were sat at a table for four. There was no room at all, the waitress even struggled to find room to put the complimentary bread (which keep in mind was before we even got our food). For mine and my boyfriend’s check it was 44 dollars. We didn’t get drinks, just water and I got the lasagnas which was just a singular kind of small slice of lasagna which was very mediocre. My boyfriend got the mamas spaghetti feast and it was not good at all. The tables in the room were also very very crowded which made our visit kind of uncomfortable. But once again the waitress was very sweet which is the only thing giving another star.

I ordered the Italian Nachos and Lasagna for two with two salads. The bread Finley came out 15 minutes after we placed our order. The bread was cold and hard. We had ice water that never got refilled until we asked for the check. 20 minutes later our Italian Nachos and Salad’s arrived oddly the Salad’s were shredded, I never gotten it like that before. It was a hour and an half after placing our order and still haven’t received our Lasagna, we got the attention of our server and asked to just box it up. Horrible experience. Extremely poor service. There is only one server, for 8 separate parties. I got home later and tried the Lasagna and it was a huge disappointment if I was still at
Johnny Carino’s I would have demanded that they take back the Lasagna and substitute it for something that wasn’t over cooked. It had a burnt taste like it was left in the oven for over a Hour and a half. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who would desire Italian cuisine. Johnny Carino’s has lost its way in terms of quality Italian cuisine. What a wasted opportunity on a night out.

me and my fiancé went to dinner here and the service was good however the food wasn’t that great. He got the spaghetti and meat balls and it overall tasted very dark, the sauce to me tasted like canned tomato sauce, not spaghetti, and the meatballs did taste frozen, definitely not fresh. I got the chicken alfredo and it felt like it was microwaved? there were hot spots in my dish. Also, the calamari wasn’t fried long enough, and they only offer marinara and ranch sauce for this appetizer which I find interesting that there is not cocktail sauce, especially because they have other sea food items. The dessert was good, we got the tiramisu, however they do go very heavy on cocoa powder, looks kind of messy. The one thing that did surprise me was that they offered to box our food to go, which was nice. I don’t think I will go here again because there are nice Italian restaurants nearby. We got the meal for 2 which is around $54.

I ordered the fire sticks appetizer. It was not spicy nor was the spicy marinara spicy. It was yummy. I ordered the spicy chicken. It was a lot of bow tie pasta and very little chicken. The chicken that was in there were very small pieces with grill marks on it. I think it may have been precooked frozen chicken pieces. My husband ordered the chicken parmesean and he thought it was better than Olive Gardens chicken parmesean. I enjoyed the warm bread and infused oil. The service was great. I thought a lot of the menu items sounded different than most make it, such as, jalapeños in ravioli or Italian nachos.

The service at this restaurant is very good. The food is good but a bit bland; you can tell the sauces come in a bag. Don’t get me wrong. The food is good. The chef knows what they’re doing. But there’s no basil, oregano, or thyme. We had chicken fettuccine and spaghetti and meatballs. They were good but not great. If this restaurant just let the chefs use butter and spices, it would easily be 4 or 5 stars. The wood fired pizza oven is cool and I bet the pizzas are good. The tiramisu is excellent. Don’t miss it. Parking is extensive.

The food was good, however, the service from our actual waitress was not. She was to busy talking to the ladies sitting in the bar. She could see us as we sat directly on the other side of the wall. When she came to refill drinks she didnt even know what we ordered. We were one of the only tables in there. The hostess brought our check and my card sat for almost 10 min before the waitress finally came. It was enough to make me regret our decision to eat there.

I took my wife there not long after the reopening began and there was no waiting, unlike some other places; which was nice. The service was great. We both ordered the Johnny plate (I believe that’s what it was called) It has chicken Parmesan, 16-layer lasagna and spaghetti; and comes with soup or salad and bread. My wife got the dinner salad and I got the Minestrone; which was tasty. The salad looked good. We both thought the chicken Parmesan was delicious and the best of the three entree items on the plate. We agreed that the lasagna was next best, followed by the spaghetti. I would say the chicken Parmesan was very good, the lasagna was pretty good and the spaghetti was fairly good. The bread and dip were very good also. Actually, I am not a big spaghetti fan, however, the sauce they used actually had some flavor to it, rather than simply a tomato sauce. Very good dining experience.

I was really quite surprised by this place. The food was very good, nicely spiced and portions were plenty enough to have a second meal. Service was very good, our waitress did a great job recommending good drinks and food. Will definitely be back around again.
