Amazingly wonderful experience! Get Devon as a server. He gives wonderful recommendations for cocktails. I had an orgasmic pomegranate margarita. The pizza needs a little of moisture in the crust, and it’s about a 4 on a 10 scale, but other foods are amazing.

I haven’t ate here since I was a teen, it was nostalgic for me. Good dine experience, very yummy food and fairly affordable. I got the French dip sandwich basically, and hubby got Green Chile Shrimp Alfredo. Don’t forget to try an Italian cream soda, cherry is the best!

We had an excellent experience at Johnny Carino’s. We were seated quickly in a quiet, comfortable area, and within two minutes we already had our bread and drinks at the table. The service was impressively fast without feeling rushed, and the staff was attentive throughout our visit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly well prepared. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable dining experience with great service and great food. We’ll definitely be back.

Popped into Carino’s on a quiet Wednesday evening in mid january 2026. I’m a creature of habit – I always get the green chile lasagna – It’s consistently delicious and a transcendent experience every time. Today, I was solely inspired to leave my first 5-star review because of Brittaney. She was absolutely phenomenal. Her attentiveness, recommendations, genuine warmth and friendliness made my usual meal feel extraordinary.
Brittaney really elevated the entire dining experience, turning a the regular visit into something special.

We are glad to have this amazing restaurant so close of our hotel, the dinner special, we enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo, pizza in the oven, hamburger classic! They offer homemade bread and the salad exquisite! The employees are fast and friendly!

First time being at this Johnny Carino’s. Upon entering they had great music playing and the staff were very friendly. After having adventures in Cloudcroft, stopped to eat and use the restroom. Restroom was clean and organized. Sat down to eat and we were attended to almost immediately.
Upon taking our order, the food came out rather quickly considering we were a large group and the restaurant was somewhat busy. The plates came out hot and delicious. The restaurant does check your ID if ordering alcohol drinks.
The salads were great and the food was also great! Definitely would go again! Definitely need to try it out if you haven’t already.

The restaurant left much to be desired the food was strikingly bland, comparable to Olive Garden, but somehow even less satisfying. Upon entering, we were immediately hit with an unpleasant odor radiating from the bathrooms. While the service wasn’t outright terrible, our server had to return several times before getting everyone’s drink orders right.

The 3 stars are simply because 4 out of the 5 times I’ve gone to eat here, they have been out of so many ingredients that we end up ordering food we didn’t even want. Aside from that, I’ve always liked Carinos and find their food flavorful and delicious. I absolutely love the bread they bring you at the start with the herb infused olive oil to dip it in, it’s so good.
The pastas are good, similar to Olive Garden. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers to take home. They have lunch specials during the weekdays, they do have beer and wine as well as various cocktails. They also offer a kids menu and the kids have the option to make their own pasta dish. Fun!
Food wise, my family loves the calamari and I’m a sucker for their soups. They also have a Green Chile lasagna that’s quite tasty. Their desserts are a shareable portion.
This place is great as long as their kitchen is stocked because when it is, we never leave disappointed.
