We went to Johnny Carino’s on West Memorial Road today for lunch. I ordered the ribeye steak & lasagna combination as depicted in the first image with an 8 oz steak and received just a few pieces of fat and gristle that was probably cut off of the steak that I was supposed to receive. There were only about 6 other people in the restaurant seated to eat, our waiter had our table and one other. Despite not having any business the waiter could not keep our drinks refilled, etc. After placing our order he returned to the the table 10 minutes later and then again not once, not twice, but three times, now 15 minutes after the order and repeatedly asked us what our orders were. When I complained about not getting the 8 oz steak and just the few pieces of fat and gristle he said that was how it was supposed to be and walked off. This was disgusting and not edible, total disaster of horrible food and service, and I could go on, but i have already wasted too much time on this failure of a business!

Our waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, the food quality was not good. This will be our last visit to Johnny Carino’s. It’s such a shame because we used to get delicious meals there.

We came in on a Tuesday evening. Our server was Mikayla. She was delightful. She kept our drinks and bread basket full. Our food was served hot and fresh. She was fun to visit with. What a great personality. She contributed to a lovely evening. I’d give more stars if I could. Thank you.

First time here and honestly pretty disappointed. I came in excited after seeing good reviews and wanting to try something new, but the experience was frustrating from the start. It took almost 10 minutes just to get my drink, and instead of getting bread and salad while I waited, my fettuccine Alfredo came out first from a different server. When I asked for bread and salad, it took another 10 minutes, and the server even asked if I still wanted it since my food was already there. Asking for another salad took yet another 10 minutes. There was no wait when I arrived at 6pm, yet I’ve been here over an hour and a half, dealt with multiple servers, and had to ask more than once just to get simple things. The food didn’t make up for it either – the Alfredo was bland, the ranch garden salad was bland, the Italian garden salad was overly peppered (though okay), and the bread was the only standout. Overall, not a great experience and not somewhere I’d return for the $30 I paid after tip – 2/10.

Food is inedible- my husband described the flavor of a ball point box pen ink. my fettuccine had zero flavor just mushy pasta with the worst sauce ever. The chicken….i can’t describe how bad tasted like it had turned bad – we both feel awful after a couple bites. If there was less than 1 star I’d give it.

I THINK THIS RESTUARANT IS TAKING IT’S LAST BREATH.
I ordered 2-GO. Did not want to go through the motion or take time to dine in. Placed the order over the phone and went to pick it up at the special TO-GO pick up area on East side of building. After waiting for 5 minutes for someone to come out and bring me my food (that didn’t) I called them from their curbside location to find out where the drive-thru host was.
THEY INFORMED ME… that the curbside is no longer a thing. SO, I had to go into the restaurant and pick up my food that was sitting on their counter for however long. I paid the person and had to wait 5 more minutes for my change. Frustrating
The food was fair at most. I had to reheat it when I got home. I ordered Chicken Scallopine. I wish they would not have used spaghetti noodles on this dish. A thinner pasta would have been a better pick. The desert was great Turtle cheesecake but REALLY COSTLY AT $10.00 for a slim slice.
The inside of the restaurant was dimly lit and the atmosphere seemed tired.
I have dined in at this place when it first opened. It was bustling. It was worth the wait. Today, No Wait. It is sad, it makes me wonder if this too is going to be the next restaurant chain to close their doors.

We had dinner earlier, my husband and I and wanted just to sit back and relax no rush. Just take our time ordering our drinks and picking out what food we’ll be getting. Our young server Eternity was a joy to serve us. Not only was she very professional but very attentive to our questions about the menu. She smiled, made us feel like we were the only ones there! We usually go to the south Carino’s location since we live in Midwest City. Because of our new favorite server we will be coming back just for her! Ps: of course the food too! Thank you Eternity!

My boyfriend wants their chicken bowtie every once a while,Based on his passion on their chicken bowtie,I give them 5 star,I went there one time with my baby ordered kid’s spaghetti pasta with tomato sauce, she don’t like I eated it all, baby is picky on so many food,I think it taste okay。Everything becomes so expensive nowadays, their dinner bowtie doesn’t seem too much more than their lunch bowtie, but dinner is $10 more than lunch price,it’s chicken、it’s bowtie you know… One time their server forgot to send my chicken bowtie to go order to kitchen made me wait longer time, but I think overall it’s good.

My wife and I are big fans of Johnny Carino’s and have been for years. I have visited locations from Texas to North Dakota and we have never had a bad experience. Today was exceptional with outstanding food and service. Makayla, our waitress was spot on from start to finish. The manager stopped by to ask how we were doing but didn’t interrupt us. As great as the staff was the food was even better. I highly recommend the chicken and sausage skilletini but have them add mushrooms. Their dinner salad in an ice cold bowl is one of the best any where. Anytime we are in OKC we make a dinner stop at the Memorial location in north OKC. They have some of the best Italian food there is anywhere. Very nice job Makayla and kitchen staff!!

We came in on Christmas Eve, so we knew it might be crowded and/or short staffed. We were not in a hurry at all, so when drink refills came slowly and bread didn’t arrive, it wasn’t an issue. We eventually got our food and our server was very nice in spite of clearly having too many tables and not enough help. The issues came when the check arrived. My mom upgraded to a wedge salad which was clearly listed as $4.99 extra on the menu, but we were charged $6.99 extra. My 11 year old daughter ordered minestrone with her entree, which was listed as $1.49 extra, but we were charged $6.49 for a bowl of soup. I pointed these two things out to our server and he went to the manager, but the manager would not fix it. I asked to review the menu and pointed out the descrepancies, but he said that the menu prices were not accurate. I offered to talk to the manager about it, and when he came over, he immediately threw our server under the bus and blamed him for the mix up with the soup. He still wouldn’t correct the check, but offered a coupon for a free appetizer. He refused to correct the extra charge on the salad, stating that the menu was incorrect. I have been to this restaurant a million times since it opened and never experienced anything like this. Now I wish we’d at least gotten our free bread!
