This place is fantastic! I have been here a couple times and have had great experiences. The staff is great and super friendly and the food is sold. Great hot dogs and burgers and the fried chicken sandwich is perfection. Their clams are always a win. Highly recommend it.

It was okay. First time having a lobster roll (got the hot one). It was surprisingly small for $30. It wasn’t bad. But nothing to be amazed about. Definitely not worth $30 imo. Onion rings were good. Birch beer too. But disappointed after all the hype about lobster rolls

Disappointed. Saw a pic of their seafood online and it looked good and was piled high so decided to give it a try. That wasn’t my experience. Paid $40 for their fried seafood platter and it was definitely not worth it. See photo and judge for yourself. 1 flounder filet, 2 shrimp, maybe 5 little bay scallops, and and about the same amount of small whole belly clams. The menu on the board actually showed clam strips (online showed whole belly). I wanted strips and the order taker confirmed it came with strips but it did not. Maybe would’ve been halfway acceptable if everything was top notch but it was not. The fish (flounder) was very fishy. The whole belly not great. The fries tasted like frozen fries. The shrimp and scallops actually tasted good but so not worth it with the small amount. Do yourself a favor and go to Bill’s down the street. $35 for their platter and it’s loaded and tastes great.

Before heading to the beach, we stopped for a quick lunch at Johnny Ad’s! There’s something on the menu for everyone, and the staff was friendly at the window. The lobster roll was packed full, and all of the food was delicious. A nice casual spot that we would definitely return to!

The food was fantastic. Blew my mind that they provide single use plastic for dining in. How is that even legal.

Do not come here if you are hungry craving some seafood, because they will disappoint you in a way that will have you running to mcdonalds-fast. Thats exactly what happened to me and my family. Waisted $90 trying this place out, totally throwing money and time away. The hot lobster roll was $30, unseasoned and the only butter on that thing sank to the bottom of the bun so that it was a mushy slop of a mess. They didnt even have the decency to use salted butter, which they should have, since Johnny Ads is anti seasoning. I mean the lobster itself in the role was dry..rubbery and flavorless. The fried fish was a joke…zero flavor.on the crumbling breading that fell off the fish. The fish literally slid out of the breading. No flavor or.seasoned fries…Just potato chunks. Horrible. 0 out of 10. Shoulbe ashamed. I want my money back. Never again will I go here.

I try to drive here a few times a year, for the fried clam strips.
The food is good. Portions are decent, prices are fair.
It is a nice ride. I like the atmosphere here as well…
Wife likes to get the lobster roll as a change of pace. It’s nice to wash down our food with a delightful vanilla milk shake.
When you go here, you need to go inside to order. They will call you when your order is up.
There are picnic tables outside and tables inside, so there are options to make almost everyone happy!

Johnny Ads has amazing seafood platters always fresh. I particularly love the fried shrimp and the onion rings are delicious. The fish tacos are also very good.

Drove over 50 minutes and was highly disappointed. $29.99 for a lobster roll, not as much meat as it’s competitors and lackluster. Lobster bisque was ok, no chunks of bits of lobster in it. Clam chowder was very bland. Platter for $39.99 was not worth it. The fish was not cod, seemed to be tilapia. The whole belly clams were weirdly runny. All sitting on top of way too much grease that should have been shaken off in the fryer.

Wow Johnny Ad’s what happened to you?! It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I have to say I’m dissapointed. Your whole belly clam “platter” came with seven (7!!!wth!) clams. You charged me $30 dollars for this platter. Seriously. Never again. No wonder there were so few people here.
