Loved the live performance. Never plan on having a conversation with anyone though because you cannot hear anything else. Go for the show not the food. Overpriced food that is maybe a 3-star level, still good just not for 4-5 star ratings. For example: the loaded baked potato is just that….a baked potato cut in half with drizzled sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits. It wasn’t mixed in at all just drizzled so you don’t get that goodness mixed in to the whole potato, you’d have to do it yourself with the little drizzled stuff…. All food tasted bland as well.

My husband and I loved the atmosphere and detail to the Fall decorations, we noticed the menu had changed and it looked fabulous! There was only one server trying to keep up with an entire restaurant of guests. She was kind but didn’t have time to get more beverages, etc. I was excited to try the roasted sweet potato salad, I added grilled chicken for an extra $7. I was so disappointed to see the sweet potatoes were cut up canned sweet potatoes and the grilled chicken was charred black. My husband got the Cajun pasta, it wasn’t worth the $24! Great menu concepts with poor food quality. We ended up spending $86. I will go elsewhere for the price of the food. The music and drinks were good. The food and service wasn’t worth the money.

Food is expensive but comes with a side of entertainment. The food was good and my pork tenderloin was Huge!!! Husband had the Bourbon Burger and really enjoyed it. Our waitress was extremely good and gave us the best service.

Go for the live music but you absolutely must stay for the food. I’d all but given up on quality, affordable restaurant food but Johnnie’s has absolutely given me hope again. We ordered the Philly and nachos with pulled pork. Both were amazing but those nachos…my goodness. We didn’t even need to add the meat. All the toppings were fresh including the chips which miraculously stayed crispy from start to finish. The toppings were evenly distributed and not just on the top layer of chips. They absolutely got it right and we will definitely be back soon.

Potential with zero passion behind its concept. High end prices with hardly mediocre service and bland food. We didn’t complain about anything (just trying to enjoy our date night), but the waiter was more concerned about his complaints over coworkers than our satisfaction and had minimal knowledge of the menu. I had to walk to the bar myself to try and find a suitable bourbon. It was slow, but the bartender never acknowledged I existed.

Went in tonight for our first time. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was above and beyond, very comfortable and inviting. They had a game night tonight and we played bingo. It was very fun. Will absolutely be back.

Excellent experience all around. Aesthetically pleasing decor. Intimate atmosphere with a lively vibe. Good, friendly service. Tasty, well presented dishes along with nicely done drinks. Area was well maintained and clean, including spotless restrooms. We absolutely LOVED our entertainment tonight: Waldo Jazz Collective (such a great job, gentlemen–we enjoyed you soooooo very much!!!). We just want to say a huge thank you to Johnnie’s and Waldo Jazz Collective for a truly great and memorable date night! We look forward to future visits. God bless you all.
