Johnny’s has never let me down. The food is very good. The staff is friendly. The price is decent. If you don’t know what you want to eat, but know you’re hungry, go here. You won’t have to wait. Just grab a plate and go.

This place was amazing. The good was so delicious I was stuffed after eating here. Our server was so nice and pretty. The atmosphere was okay because I was sitting at a spot near the very front and a male kept looking at me when I was literally looking at the slideshow on the TV and he kept moving his head disrespectfully. A grown man doing that to someone is actually so bad. But anyways if it wasn’t for that I would have given 5 stars.

Best food in the world for people who are over fifty.
All my young folks wouldnt be caught dead in here.

They don’t know what they’re missing.!
The catfish fillets are spectacular!
The mashed potatoes are actually mashed potatoes!!
Find what you like and eat that.
Avoid the stuff you don’t.
That’s what a buffet is. simple as that.

Food was absolutely awful, the server was great however. Country fried steak, Fried Chicken, on the bar, Mac and cheese dry and horrible, casserole just as bad. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant until now. I will definitely drive a few mile further for a better food bar such as tomato buffet. What a waste of money!!!!!!

Food was not the best I’ve ever had but it was good. My husband and I come to Emerson once a year and found this place last year. My husband was super excited because on Thursday they have chicken gizzards, which he loves.
I am not a meat eater. But the veggies are good. They didn’t have fried okra which I love but they had other things. The yeast rolls were really good. Green beans really good.
Good value for the money.

I am not sure how this place has gotten good reviews. It’s a good thing they over-charge you before you attempt to eat the bland, heat lamp luke warm soggy food. This place is ridiculously overrated. Eggs-basically salt, more salt & a dash of salt with some eggs for added texture. Then thrown in a pan to sit on boiling water to keep warm but ultimately the humidity just makes it a soggy mess. The same goes for the other items on the buffet. Soggy tater tots/hashbrowns, overcooked bacon, hockey pucked sausage…. you get the point. I finished zero of my meal. Taking a sip of water just about churned the stomach as the cup or the water smelled like a dirty mop. Speaking of dirty mops, the entire floor was sticky from being mopped with a greasy mop.
Maybe the other meal times are better, but I highly doubt it. Save yourself the heartbreak of thinking you are getting “home cooking” and just go to the homeless camp off the I-75 exit, probably better food. How they pass inspections is a true Christmas Miracle.

Nice place. The greeter was kind and inviting. At first glance everything looks southern prepared. The buffet was neat and clean. I decided to have the fried and baked chicken with cabbage, cornbread, macaroni, sweet potato casserole and a side salad. The fried chicken was ok. The baked chicken and sweet potato casserole was delicious. The cabbage, cornbread and Mac was good. If I’m back in town, I would stop by again

i came to this location for brunch, after dine in for lunch at the marietta location, and i have high hopes since i had an amazing time and delicious foods at the one in marietta. it surprises me since the have different variety of foods for brunch also. the buttery cornbread, the meatloaf and i think it’s called chicken dressing (i might be wrong) are the highlights of my brunch. i asked the cashier if the always serve the same food daily but no, the always changing it and made it fresh each day. highly recommended, affordable, delicious in both locations.

Would give zero stars if I could. Our 1st time there but it will be our last. Only meat offred was chicken. Baked or fried. Flavorless veggies and potatoes. Bathrooms were really nasty. And, definitely not worth what we paid. Very disappointing. Don’t do it!!!
