The service was attentive and friendly, they ask you what you want in it, and will follow your preferences. The shawarma was good and plentiful. The only drawback was a pre-cut meat, whereas, freshly cut meat from the spit makes all the difference between good and great. Still a good Shawarma and also fairly priced

Amazing food, but a bit of feedback here, I’ve been here about 3 times and every time I ordered I would come home to a complete mess. It seems the workers just keep putting the sauce and condiments at the very bottom of the takeout paper bag and then add the food on top squeezing all the sauces and making a horrible mess. Feedback for owner to please instruct your staff to put sauces and condiments on top or in a separate bag! This issue has beeen too consistent to ignore.

I can’t say enough about how delicious and incredible Garlic & Lemons is. If you’ve never been, it’s an absolute must. And if you somehow don’t love it, I’ll pay for your meal myself. My wife and I have hosted Christmas dinner parties and even had them cater for us every single guest was blown away.

Friendly staff, clean and pretty fresh ingredients. Bathroom was also clean. Typical options of a Mediterranean restaurant, but I wish I could get a better sense of what I’m getting from the menu and the final dish will look like cuz there were no pictures. They serve you on a plate with food piled on top of rice/base or in a bowl for a bowl if you are dining in. Ordered Original Beef Shawrma and Protein Bowl with falafel. The amount of food was good, enough for 3 people from the 2 dish, and I loved how it was not greasy or salty. Pretty healthy. Atmosphere-wise maybe it was the particular time of the day but I found the store rather empty. I was roomy though and I could enjoy the conversation with my party even with the background music. Overall decent place.

The food was alright, but the portions felt small for the price. Honestly, it seemed a bit pricey for what we got. The plate was kinda small too, which made eating a bit annoying. On the bright side, the food wasn’t oily, and the quality was decent.

First time stopping by with a friend expecting just a chill quick bite to eat. However their chicken shawarma bowl was packed with flavor, including the option for spicy potatoes, fatoush salad, and your choice of sauces! Generous portions, party in your mouth flavored food, served by very kind & thoughtful staff! We took ours to go but I will definitely be coming back here to relax and eat in as the vibes of the sitting area beckons for long laughter filled meals with friends. It is now saved as a favorite!

They are located in a neighborhood that has a lot of Asian restaurants, and I would never expect their food to be so flavourful. Their garlic sauce is top notch. The prices are nominal. Portion sizes great. The service is fast. The atmosphere is great for what it is.

Took a couple of visits while looking for a quick meal in the area. The restaurant was mostly empty during my visits, so it was somewhat disappointing to find out that they used pre-carved meats for the Shawarma plate. The kebab plate was served with a made-to-order grilled chicken, so it seemed like the vertical spits, adorned with stacks of beef and chicken, were just there as decorations. While limited in numbers, their sides and salad options were great, but the meats were generally on the drier end.
In terms of pricing, Garlic N Lemons positions itself at the higher end compared to other kebab joints in the city, such as Aceituna. However, the quality of the food, particularly the meats, doesn’t notably surpass its competitors. While it may be a solid option in Allston, I’m not sure if I would return.
