This pizza was mouthwatering delicious! We had pepperoni and margharita and it did not disappoint! I can still taste it right now. The people who worked there were really kind and helpful. The establishment is very lived in/ well loved, but it’s probably why the pizza tastes so good! You can tell it is a neighborhood staple. Thank you!!! We will be back the next time we go to the zoo.

I really hate that I have to do this. Years ago I used to eat here often. Quality has degraded drastically. But it’s not even quality really, they just cannot cook the pizza right! Last three times I ordered I needed a spatula to pick up my slice! Every time I call I am put on hold which is what it is, but they NEVER cook their pizza! And I’m always worried to tell them well done or crispy because one time I did and they delivered me a burnt pie (felt like on purpose). I don’t know man, last time I ever order from here. Good luck to them.

I used to live in the neighborhood and ordered from here all the time. Well, now I moved to Brooklyn and no other pizza shop can really compare to John & Joes. Came back here after a few years and everything tasted exactly the same. I almost cried. The portions, the prices and the quality is everything I remember and better.
I apologize if the photo may be unflattering but it’s so flavorful and delicious. Their sauce, cheese, everything is unmatched and makes me feel so nostalgic.

Got the pepperoni pizza and garlic knots with cheese!
I see the garlic knots is the best! And best when warm pepperoni pizza is good.. took one star off cause of the waiting time! Would definitely gonna come back and try other flavors! ❤️

Waited over 20 minutes for a slice of chicken pizza. Two new sets of customers came in and out as I waited. Ended up leaving with a seltzer water only.

pizza is good, but service is pretty bad, especially for delivery. we ordered a single pizza for delivery to an address that’s 1.5 blocks (2 min walk) from the restaurant. we called back ~10 min later to try to add something else to our order but were told it was already sent out. no problem, we were actually happy that we would be getting it super fast. we then proceeded to wait another 50 minutes for the pizza that was allegedly already out for delivery, and ended up calling the restaurant to let them know we no longer wanted the pizza and that we would not open the door if the delivery person still came. not even 10 minutes later we received multiple calls from them despite this. we actually ended up ordering elsewhere that was significantly further away which came in 20 min. overall, the food is decent but not worth such a long wait for such a short distance.
