Understanding it was Thanksgiving eve the food was sub par at best. $85 later the 2 pizzas ordered ( medium) both undercooked, raw dough and 24 old bay wings ( skimpy size) were a huge disappointment. First time ordering for 3 adults and 4 kids. I drove from Ohio to visit family and was hoping for a much better food experience. I believe in 2nd chances but at $85 delivered with tip it makes it hard to want too.

I’ve called three times now an hour before they close and they don’t pick up don’t answer. Then I walk up there because they don’t answer at 8:00 p.m. and the lights are out. I don’t understand why this happens. Change your hours if you’re going to close super early. Besides that their Pizza is great I do tend to order from there a lot. So I think out of customer service they really should stay open when they say they are. Hopefully this we’ll get figure it out sometime soon

We just moved to the area this past year and I am kicking myself for not coming to this place sooner. Everything I’ve ordered has been great but in particular I really love their pizza. We’ve ordered multiple pizzas and I just tried a steak and cheese sub yesterday and it was phenomenal. Fast service, generous portions, and consistent food. Can’t get much better than that.

My husband and I both love this place! Fabulous pizza, friendly employees that remember you and often know your likely order as soon as you mention your name. 🙂 The pizza is absolutely delicious, and I’d recommend in particular their Buffalo Chicken or Chicken, Bacon and Ranch pizzas. My husband will 9 times out of 10 vote for their Gourmet Works or Carnivore’s Dream (and I don’t mind “losing” any given week’s rock-paper-scissors for pizza pick, because those are excellent too.)

My favorite pizza joint. The beauty is in the simplicity of their Margherita pizza, but what I love the most is the consistency with which they have been preparing it.
I had an issue once which I reported, and it was promptly taken care of and never since. Now that’s customer service.
Today we can cope with change as a constant in our lives, but it should never be at the cost of quality. I hope for you guys to stay true to that.

Our first time ordering and we were not disappointed! We just moved into our new home, and heard from a coworker about this place delivering to us. (Only other place is dominos ) We ordered 2 pizzas, some wings, onion rings and fries. Wow. The onion rings were so good and still crispy when we got them. The pizzas were amazing, the best chicken bacon ranch I’ve ever had. And the fries were slightly soggy (which is to be expected for fresh cut fries in a styrofoam container) but still tasted great! We will definitely be ordering again! Also the delivery guy was very friendly and prompt! Great first experience.

We had a large all-day event at a nearby location and weren’t sure how much pizza we would need. Danny and the team at Il forno express were amazing to work with and brought over pizzas as needed all day–often rushing when we needed more quickly–going above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

Usually this is my favorite pizza in the area. This time it was a little under cooked. The crust was done, but the center dough wasn’t all the way cooked. Still raw in some spots.
They seemed very busy, so I’m not going to hold it against them. I will definitely go back because usually it’s fantastic pizza.

Il Forno Express catered one of our baseball team parties today and did an absolutely amazing job! The owner, manger, and entire staff were very accommodating of helping our local baseball team out! Not only were they accommodating, but the food was off the hook. We got several pizzas including Margherita, pepperoni, and the personal favorite of the afternoon, the meatlovers! Everything was prepared and ready for us to pick up on time and was cooked to perfection. Every last bite of the pizza was gone! I highly recommend this establishment as they not only have great food, exceptional customer service, and quick responses to customer inquiries, they truly support the local community and its organizations. Thank you for all you did for us! We look forward to eating here many times in the future!

This is the only place in Frederick which will undercook the dough on your pizza multiple times. It ends up being a problem with around 1 in every 3 pizzas that I buy from Il Forno. For what it’s worth, their ingredients are great quality, but it’s obvious that they try to make the pies too fast to deal with popular demand.
