We had no idea this great sandwich place was here. Hidden gem!! It’s a small sandwich shop, with a varied menu. They have really interesting sandwiches and salads. We ordered to go. There are tables outside that one can enjoy during the warmer months. Servings are fresh and generous. There may be a wait if there’s only one person working, but it’s worth it!!

Can we talk about these sandwiches? Ordered The Landy oob a round roll, and it was just perfection. The sandwich was packed with chicken (not fried), mozz, sun dried tomats, sautéed spinach and prosciutto. I asked for the roll to be gutted because I heard these sandwiches were packed, and that was a good move. It barely fit in my mouth, but it was worth the effort . So so good. All four of us loved our lunch, and some took half hone for later. You have to try this little gem!
Oh, and the gentleman working the counter was so kind and made great suggestions.

Didn’t have a great experience here. Paid $20 for a chicken cutlet hero with mozzarella and got unseasoned boiled chicken breast instead. I figured it was just a mistake but when i asked they said that’s how they make their chicken cutlets. The mozzarella was good but it and the chicken were cut into such thick heavy slices that theyd fall out every time you picked the sandwich up. It was supposed to come with fresh spinach also but was actually cold sauteed spinach instead which didn’t taste good so unfortunately we ended up throwing half the sandwich away.

I can’t say enough great things about this sandwich shop! The Bray’s Way sub is an absolute masterpiece—every bite is packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that make it my go-to. And now, they’ve added some seriously great salads to their menu, which makes this spot even more of a standout in Ocean Grove.
It might be a little tricky to find since it’s tucked away in an alley, but trust me, it’s worth the hunt. Some of the best subs in Jersey are hiding right here! The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and everything is always super fresh.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. This place is a true hidden gem that’s quickly becoming my favorite! ✨

Had a poor experience here. Ordering was confusing and I felt like the lady behind the counter was trying to push the caprese salad a bit too hard. The vegetarian sandwich option listed was not available and the sandwich that I received had cold sautéed spinach not fresh spinach, not a fresh vegetable on my vegetarian sub. Then they tried to charge my wife for our food after I had just paid only 10 minutes before. Our money was promptly refunded. I could not eat much of my sandwich due to the taste. My wife’s chicken sandwich was bland to tasteless. Portion sizes were normal. Place had a funky smell, almost no drink selection. No chips. There are other sandwich shops nearby.

I highly recommend this charming sandwich shop in the middle of Ocean Grove just three blocks from the beach. I had a Scotty sandwich (chicken, eggplant, provolone, arugula) that was “to die for”! Fresh ingredients and delicious bread – you can’t ask for more from a sandwich shop except that as a bonus, the owners and staff are all exceptionally friendly. Stop here before you go to the beach this summer – You’ll be glad you did.

Tried for the first time today. Sandwich was excellent and the owners couldn’t have been nicer. Already told a few of my neighbors about. Bread was really good. Hoping that perhaps they incorporate seeded sub rolls in the future. Will be back for sure.
