The food truck is our go to place for chole kulche and bread pakora. Their dahi puri is great too.

This food truck was in the same area with Momo Grill and another pav bhaji truck right next to Costco. As there were other food options ordered only amritsari chole kulcha and I was not disappointed at all. After tasing the food I regretted that I didn’t order more from this truck. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for Punjabi food .

OMG, the best amritsari chole kulche i’ve ever had in US. Every bite is so delicious that even if you are full, you would want more.
P.S Vada is equally opposite to chole kulche in taste, don’t even think of ordering.
Reviewing again, I don’t know what changed but the Amritsari chole kulche doesn’t taste the same anymore. It was quite salty. Also they have hiked the prices.

Johal Chaat & Curry serves up satisfying Indian street food in a casual, no-frills setting. While free parking can be a bit challenging to find, the friendly service and tasty dishes more than compensate. The outdoor seating might not be for everyone, but if you’re okay with a bit of grit, it’s a great spot to enjoy their flavorful offerings. The food is simple yet delicious, and the bhatura is a standout, not overly greasy like at some places. For a quick, affordable, and authentic Indian meal, Johal Chaat & Curry is a solid choice.

I came here for the first time on Friday and was not disappointed! We ordered gol gappe (pani puri), Amritsari Kulche Cholay and paneer pakore. Everything was piping hot and delicious – the gol gappe pani is spicy but yummy, and the kulche are like a cross between paraunthe and naan and the cholay were on point. The food came at separate times (the only downfall) but they were insanely busy. I can’t wait to return…the Punjabi food is definitely worth the wait.

Went there over the weekend to try their amritsari chhole kulche. The only place to have served the authentic stuffed kulcha in the Bay Area. Chhole were ok!
It was flavourful, good value for money and the owner is very polite.
My husband is a big fan of kulfi that gets served. Give it a try.
No place to seat yourself nearby as it’s a food truck so make good use of your cars to enjoy their delicacies.

Decent food truck but nothing special. At the last the amritsari kulcha and chole were ordinary. The kulcha was good while hot but the chole were boring and rather tasteless. The amount of food is good for the price. There are three food trucks in the area and they offer pav bhaji or vada pav for similar price but I guess the portion would be maybe half the size?
There is no good parking around the food trucks and tons of signs that say not to park if you are there for the food trucks. Quite risky to park and eat.

I didn’t look at the reviews before I tried this place, which was a mistake. The goat curry was very thin, watery and tasteless. I wouldn’t serve that if I had made it and they shouldn’t either. Get something else, or better yet go down the road to Zareen’s instead.

Tried chole and shahi paneer with kulcha. Both the items were really tasty and kulcha was one of the best I have had in bay area.
