This was our first stop when visiting Racine and it was a great choice! The food was great and our server was the best! She was attentive and helpful and very friendly. The fish was delicious and the sand dollars did not disappoint. We’ll return.

We stopped into Joey’s Yardarm in Racine for lunch and had a really great experience from start to finish. Service was friendly and attentive, and we had our soft drinks almost immediately, which is always a good sign when you’re on a lunch schedule.
We both decided to try the soup du jour — creamy mushroom — and it was a pleasant surprise. Rich, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy.
For my meal, I ordered the buffalo chicken chop salad. It was packed with protein, super fresh, and had just the right amount of dressing — enough to bring everything together without overpowering the ingredients.
Overall, Joey’s Yardarm is a great lunch spot with a solid selection and reliable service. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I want something satisfying but not over-the-top heavy in the middle of the day.

Nice restaurant located in the heart of the marina yards in downtown Racine. While there are handicap spots here, it can be a little tight in certain spots of the restaurant to maneuver. Nice and fairly simple menu. The lobster grilled cheese was very very rich. The bread is garlic buttered, lots of cheese and lots of “lobster meat”. If you like heavily savory and rich you’ll like it. Slightly overpowered for my taste. Fries were good, cooked perfectly. Soup was Tuscan sausage and potato…but no potato in our bowl. BLT was your typical BLT, except the bread was buttered on every side, making it quite rich. Sand dollars were cooked well, but are missing something from the seasoning, perhaps salt. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Decor is cozy making it an enjoyable atmosphere. Would like to come back and try a burger on the patio when it gets warmer.

Hate giving Yardarm this rating but for this one visit I have to. Ordered the grouper and it was way over cooked and also tasted rather fishy More than usual. I have had this dish a few times before and love it so bummed that this round it was not good. I ate less than half and told them staff it was overcooked and did not taste good. They took it back and still charged us. I did not speak up about them charging us for this and just paid. My husband had the fish fry and he said it was just okay this round too.

I enjoyed the Tenderloin steak sandwich. It was hands down the best steak sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. I had a side of Cilantro Lime Slaw with it and it was very good. I also tried a sampling of the Black bean salad and that was out of this world good. The Maple coffee martini was the perfect way to cap off my meal. Becky was our server and she was amazing, attentive, made sure we were happy at all times. I can’t wait to go back and will ask to have Becky as my server again!!
