It’s food. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, food is just ok. Had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Roadhouse Burger. Sandwich was large portion, soft bread, but the meat was just bland (even with extra Carolina Sauce), although it was tender. Burger was OK, but way too seasoned.
Has good weekly specials like Wild Wednesdays when wine bottles are half off (Guacamole Wednesday would be more in theme, but I digress).
Overall, it satisfied need for local grub in Milford. But probably not worth travel to specifically.

The tuna tacos were amazing. Brisket with the Carolina sauce was on point. Melted in my mouth. The rice and beans were seasoned to perfection. Great beer selection. Super friendly staff. Sue was a great server. The kale salad was great. Only suggestion if you’re watching your sodium ask for your bbq sauce on the side. Definitely worth checking out.

We like this place. The wings came out with my dinner which was unfortunate. I got a tamale special that was really good. Service was quick and good. The scalloped potatoes were delicious as usual. We also got ribs. Baby back. Tender. Very good. It was a Monday night so the place was nearly empty.

I wasn’t that impressed. I had pulled pork and the sauce was supposed to by a spicy chipotle. Instead, it tasted like a generic sweet sauce out of a bottle. My wife’s fajita was luke warm. Good place for families, though.

I have been going to this place for consistently since moving to the Milford area. Food is usually above average with decent service and a good happy hour. With so many other new restaurants opening in the area I haven’t been here in a while so decided to go back knowing it would be an above average experience. I was dead wrong. The cleanliness of this place has really taken a dive. There were a lot of flies inside the establishment and I man a lot. I complained about it and so did others because I had a conversation about it with the family next to me. During the food service an employee came out and starting killing the flies by smacking them with his bare hands. Disgusting. Lots my appetite and left. Will not go back until they clean the place thoroughly.

This place has some excellent BBQ. We were there later in the evening, so service was fast. The server was pleasantly accommodating with my request to sample 2 beers before choosing. The food was delicious and the prices were good, plus they have mix and match platter options. Also, they offer nightly specials, and they have a loyalty app through which you can get rewards. And event though we were there finishing up our meal after closing, they weren’t rude about it or even bothered by it. They just informed us they were closing up, but that we could take as long as we needed to finish. I would definitely recommend this place.

Arrived over an hour before closing time. Out of consideration for scheduled business hours, ordered food and drink quickly. Food was good but slightly high price for the quality and portion you receive. Service from Mellisa was poor. She was very hurried with us right from the start and with the one other table near us, and gave us the bare minimum attention just to take the order and deliver the drink and meals. For our few minor additional requests we had to flag her down. She never checked in with us after the meals were delivered to ask if all was okay. As we sat for a minute after finished eating, we were approached and abruptly told “we are closing in 15 minutes”. A short time later the check was delivered without asking if we needed anything else. We’ve had good experiences here before with other servers, but Mellisa is not a fit for the restaurant business.

Food was decent, service was okay. Unfortunately, will not be returning. I felt scammed by their promotional night. Thursday is supposed to be ladies night. The hostess let us know to tell our waitress. We were seated right away and let her know about the ladies night special 20% off. Our waitress was busy and they sent someone else to cover. After paying we noticed on the receipt we did not get the discount. The waitress went to take care of it and the owner told her to tell us we couldn’t get the discount because the card was already swiped. Not a great way to do business. The transaction could have been voided, or a refund for the difference. You can find better Tex-Mex and service else where.
