Y’all did not disappoint! Steak was great! Sides appetizer and drinks and atmosphere was all great. Waitresses all polite and respectful. Portions good.

Good food, great service, nice rustic log cabin setting. The server greeted us within a few minutes. Drinks were served up soon after. Appetizers came out a few minutes later. They were tasty and didn’t last long. Drink refills, trip to the salad bar and our 5 meals came out. I had the bone in ribeye, sweet potato and salad bar. The salad bar is extra but well worth it. The steak was cooked properly and was tasty. The sides were delicious. The recommended dessert was good too.

The bread we got before our meal was hot and extremely good with the cinnamon butter. The salad bar had lots of options and everything I got tasted good. The burnt ends Mac and cheese that I got which is Mac and cheese with brisket on top was really good. Our server Hope was very sweet and helpful during our visit.

Mashed potatoes were hard the gravy tasted burnt, all 3 of our steaks were cooked way wrong the the rare was medium rare barely, the medium rare was medium and the medium was a dry jerky there was the little plastic piece from the top of a toothpick in the green beans. So now the service well there were people working or in the building very mask luster will not return again!!!

Service was great, however the food was not. The alfredo looked like it was prepared yesterday and they tossed it in the microwave. Same with the broccoli, it was terribly overcooked and mushy. On top of that, my plate was dirty with something orange dried up on the sides, old cheese maybe that didn’t come out in the washer? Wasn’t a great first impression and likely won’t return with this kind of lazy food prep. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

This is Cattleman’s Restaurant in Shepherdsville, KY!! I have to say that this was the first time out of three times that my husband and I really ENJOYED IT HERE! The service at the bar? On it! Food? The burger was cooked perfectly! I love the restaurant that asks, “How do you want your burger cooked”!? That means the restaurant doesn’t cook your burger WELL-DONE!! YAAY! THE BURGER CAME OUT ‘MEDIUM”!! HSPPY DANCE! The salad bar? Really? Amazing, fresh and CLEAN! I understand Prime Rib on Sundays, until they run out! Oh, one last thing? Sautéed Mushrooms are phenom! The mushrooms weren’t out of a jar! Yay! Please go! Good food, Happy Hours, and service was great!
