I was planning to visit this cozy restaurant due to it’s reveiws and let me tell you ‘it lives up to it’s name’.
We had an amazing pizza experience here and met their friendly staff.
Pizza was perfectly baked and bread was so tasty.
Restaurant has enough space and it’s clean and beautiful.
They have extensive menu with lots of things to try, we ordered two medium pizzas and we were full. They have good choices in vegetarian pizza too.
I will definitely try pasta and sandwiches in my next visit.

Was staying at a hotel about 15miles away, my son decided he wanted to try Joe’s Pizza as he saw a video online that it was one of the best pizzas around, unfortunately there was no more delivery as they were cleaning up almost ready to close, I mention to them we were visiting from Canada and really wanted to try their pizza.
Not only did they stay open a little longer waiting for me but when I arrived to pick up the cheese pizza I ordered, they threw in a few other pizza slices they had which wasn’t sold for free for us to try, the staff showed excellent customer service skills both over the phone and in person, everyone was so polite and welcoming and was so happy to throw in those extra slices (which tasted great by the way).
I’ll give this place a 5 star for Service, cleanliness and for a truly great tasting pizza(s).
Will definitely visit again!!!

Very good atmosphere and the owners were very friendly, but the pizza was old. You can tell it was re heated a few times. Such a shame, maybe it was just a bad day but I really wanted to love this establishment.

I love going to a Pizzeria and not expecting much, but then a place like Joe’s come through and surprises you with a very good slice of pizza. I complimented them on a good slice and they all pointed to the man by the oven and said it was all him. Well they have been around since the 80s and that was a great era, so Joe’s continues the tradition. A slice that has a tasty sauce good cheese and crust. Great Job Joe’s. You will be recognized on the Pizza Hunters App.

I recently tried this restaurant and it was awesome! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Their pizza had the perfect crispy crust, tasty sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. This has always been our go to when visiting family in the Montville area. Today was no different! The staff were great, the food is amazing at a very reasonable price. While the ability to order online is via the slice app, take note that the prices are slightly higher. I’d rather give the up charge directly to the restaurant, but it does make ordering easier. Pickup has always been our choice, delivery is also available. My family looks forward to their food everytime!

Stopped by Joe’s Pizzeria for some pizza. The plain slice was delicious and the vodka pizza we ordered was even better! Found out it’s family owned & run, which is always great to hear. Definitely recommend this place!

Ordered two large pies with specific instructions to not make them well done. First the delivery took forever to get to me with my daughter having to walk almost a block to meet the delivery driver. Then we finally get the pizza home to find a WELL DONE PIZZA that was the smallest “large” pie I ever ordered. Unfortunately to add to the poor experience the pizza was horrible. Well done, dry and very little cheese. This was a first and will definitely be the last time we order from here! Bad experience in every way.
