I had to stop by my daughter’s doctor to pick up some paperwork and I drove by Joe’s which had New York Style Pizza written on the window. Since I recently moved down here from Long Island, NY I said let me see if they are really doing NY pizza like they claim. I got two large cheese slices and a can of soda for $8 which is a great deal. The pizza came out thin and crispy and right on the first bite I knew this was good pizza. It was almost 1:1 to the pizza place I went to back at home. The cheese was high quality and the sauce was just right not too sweet or overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the pizza came out and the Caesar salad was good too. Jose the owner is a great guy and running an amazing restaurant that I highly recommended.

Great service, Nelson is very personable and friendly and last but not least… The pizza is great! If you’re searching for a taste of NY, this is where you wanna get your pizza from. I moved here from NYC 15 years ago and this is the best pizza I’ve had thus far. Great job guys!

Great neighborhood pizza shop reopened under new ownership. Much improved over previous management and ownership. The two slices were very generous excellent crunch to the dough highly recommend for anybody that wants old school, New York style pizza. Check out their specials great spot for eating in on the patio delivery or pick up. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is made with great care with an emphasis on cleanliness.

We were driving around the plaza and noticed Joe’s Old School Pizza in Cooper City. We were drawn in by the “New York style pizza” on the windows and decided to try it out. 10/10 the pizza was amazing and was so fresh. The cheese is so cheesy and the crust is so crispy but soft. The staff was so nice and checked up on us often. I definitely recommend this spot it is a new favorite!

I walk past this pizza parlor every day while walking my dogs and decided to try them and I can say I have no regrets! I ordered a large pizza and an order of garlic knots for 3 people and trust me one box is enough- the sizes are huge! I didn’t know it at the time so when I got there I asked them for a second box just in case and the pizzaiolo made it for me immediately while making great conversation. The owner made an appearance and he was extremely pleasant and nice. Would recommend!

Went here for the first time today, and it was amazing. The owner that was there Jose-Luis and Nelson were so nice and so great to meet. And the pizza was incredible. Tasted exactly like a New York slice and at great prices. Will definitely be back.

I don’t say this lightly: this is some of the best New York-style pizza I’ve ever had — and yes, I’ve actually been to New York! Joe’s Old School Pizza in Pembroke Pines completely blew me away. The pizza was absolutely delicious, the crust was perfect, and the flavor was spot on. Even better than a lot of the slices I’ve had up north.
The garlic rolls? Out of this world. Soft, buttery, garlicky goodness that I’m still thinking about. And the customer service was just as amazing — warm, welcoming, and you can really tell they care. There’s something special about supporting a family-owned place like this instead of a big corporate chain. You feel the love in every bite.
I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more off the menu — the wings, spaghetti, and especially the meatball sub are calling my name. So glad we’ve got a gem like this in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Decided to have lunch at Joe’s after doing a quick search for good Pizza. The place is small but clean. We ate outside had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and drink (and went back for another cheese slice). The crust is perfect thin and crispy. I would have rather the big flat pepperoni as opposed to the small round one they use (but the pepperoni still tasted good/fresh). Cheese is also good, but id get extra cheese next time. All in all this is going on my list of pizza places. The only thing is it felt just a bit pricey (but what’snot pricey nowadays). All in all…we will be back!
