Well once again I’m not going there again. They screwed up another order I had for delivery. So here it is an hour and a half later I had to call them up and find out what was going on. They had my order as pick up. If your not sure ask again people won’t mind. But now going to Sami’s I guess. What a bummer. Why didn’t they call if an order was just sitting there for that long? I guess its not in their job description.

Stopped in today been awhile since eating here and wow times have changed… Got lunch special 2slice and drink for $6.50 not bad deal.
Got meat lovers and Cheese slice, now let’s get this review going. Asked for them to be warmed up , that’s didn’t go well at all tossed in quick and barely warmed the slice.
Meat lovers was loaded w toppings but no crisp factor at all on the crust, sauce okay 6.1 at best
Now my favorite slice cheese, sauce average not same as recall understand new owners or what not, dough chewy not crisp throughout it and overall 6.1 still best in Stota but no real competition. This my thoughts and opinions so enjoy

I was driving a few hours across the state and was looking for a bite to eat along the way.

Came across this pizza spot and pulled in at around noon. I was a little hesitant, because most pizza spots have reheated slices that they put out for lunch.

Joe’s New York Pizza exceeded my expectations. A freshly baked buffalo chicken pizza greeted me, the slice was absolutely perfect. A little heat, wasn’t sloppy and a generous size.

Counter guy was a really nice guy, friendly and talked about his new glasses with enthusiasm. He definitely seemed to enjoy his job, that always makes me like a place more. Wish I remembered his name, but he was a young, trim dude with dark hair. Really made a good impression.

Not a single issue, was in and out and if I’m ever in the area again, I will absolutely stop here for a whole pie.

It would be good if the standard wasn’t to put the toppings under the cheese. When it’s called toppings not underings. And then when you call and complain about it after spending $70 on 2 large pies and 10 wings they tell you “I will make it right next time”. Then next time comes they say ok you get one topping free what a joke.

Gas station pizza is probably better. Got one pizza with pepperoni and one with spinach tomato ricotta because they don’t serve it with broccoli like most places, both were subpar

In from Flordia for a couples days and was referred to New York Pizzeria by a family member and needles to say I was a bit skeptical as I usually head straight to Slice in Utica to tackle my pizza fix. NY Pizzeria knocked it out of the park with their slices. Amazing flavor profile with just the right amount of crunch. Will definitely be back in the future. Keep up the good work.

They do not know how to make a Sicilian pizza right. they use to make a very good one but for the past year or so the Sicilian pizza is terrible.. the one I ordered today was so hard it was non eatable . the one I order before this one was 2 regular crust stacked on top of each other and over cooked. There is a certain technique to making and baking a Sicilian pizza and here it’s not done.

Phenomenal pizza.
Grew up in Syracuse. Have lived in Massachusetts for the last 45 yrs. Was in town for one night. Haven’t had pizza this good in decades. Will definitely get off this exit specifically for this pizza next time, and every time there after, when I’m coming through on 90.
