I pass by this restaurant without a thought nearly everyday while driving down Bethany Dr. because it is so inconspicuous. We decided to dine in one evening and were pleasantly surprised. Don’t judge a book by its cover fit this restaurant perfectly. The interior is small, but well appointed, and cozy. The bar area sits four patrons. The restaurant staff are courteous and their service reflects this. The food is fantastic. Great portions, great selection to whet anyone’s appetite. Joe’s Combo is packed full of cheese for all you cheese lovers out there. The chicken Alfredo is rich, creamy and on point. Our son is very picky with his spaghetti and he enjoyed his meal at Joe’s. One thing Joe’s Italian Bistro can improve upon is an expanded wine list – or at least an upgraded one. Their house cabernet is Peter Vella – a grocery store box wine, come’on! Other than their questionable wine menu, it’s a great place to sit down and eat.

Beautiful family owned hidden gems.
The food is excellent and so is the service.
I recommend the cheese ravioli, but any pasta here is well worth driving for.
Way better than any Olive Garden nearby.

We visited on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was not too crowded. I like the murals of Venice they have on the walls! The service was very good, and everyone was really friendly. We had a large party, but no orders got mixed up. Everyone enjoyed their food. The pizza in particular was amazing. The tea is my only complaint – it wasn’t very fresh. But I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some good Italian food!

Unexpectedly found ourselves in Allen, and stumbled here. Happiest accident we’ve had in a long time. The food was great — the tomato vinaigrette dressing on the dinner salad is my favorite I’ve ever had. The best part is that the prices were closer to pre-2020 style. Premium glasses of wine started at $8 a glass. Cheap wine was $5.75 a pour. The place is a bit of a dive (the murals are wonderful – bread murals for the win!), but I’d consider driving here from Denton again anytime.

My wife and I were looking for Italian in the area, and we looked up Joes since it was close to where we were going. At first, it seemed a little bit sketch because the strip mall, but once we went inside, we were silenced. A very intimate spot to grab some food and the food itself was AMAZING. Service was excellent as well. We definitely will come back.

Like the previous reviewer stated, I have driven by this restaurant many times. Today, I ordered a couple of slices for lunch. The Italian sausage slices I ordered were outstanding. Great cheese, sauce and crust with abundant toppings. Friendly staff with quick service. I will definitely return!

When we lived in Allen, we frequented this location of Joe’s for date nights and special occasions.
Now, even though we’ve moved over 30 minutes away, we’ll still make the trip because of the customer service, atmosphere, and amazing food!

The food was amazing! The best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had. Large portions with fresh ingredients! Jose was a wonderful and attentive server. We also had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and they did not disappoint!!

I live for a solid veal parm, this place is the real deal. Solid Italian place in Allen, next time I want to try the pizza and/or the chicken Parmesan. Tremendous service. Salad was really good-loved the house dressing. Rolls couldn’t stop popping em. Feels like a proper mom and pop restaurant.
