Good food for on the go travelers. Menu isn’t extensive, which I appreciate, since this means they’re concentrating on core items. Got the ‘shroom burger that comes with grilled onions and mushrooms, cheese, and fries. Mine was cooked as ordered, very tasty after a 10 hour drive! Fries were legit: crispy, well salted, and tasted great. Service was attentive and friendly! Only constructive feedback I’d give is a sign saying to “seat yourself” if that’s what they wanted us to do, instead of having us n00bs stand around awkwardly until someone suggests doing so. Overall, great dinner at reasonable prices with friendly service!

Repeat customer. Photograph shows my partially eaten chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Delicious, and the chicken pieces were tender and juicy. A couple days prior, I had the spaghetti with meat sauce which was also worth ordering again. Open until 10pm, and yes, they do Togo orders.

I came in and sat down in the booth. I waited ten minutes before anyone ever came to ask if I wanted anything to drink. Even after the server looks right at me while setting there. She then decided to come take my drink order. After getting my drink order, she proceeded to give me a few minutes to order as I look over the menu. I then proceeded to sit there twenty minutes before her coworker comes over after and odd look an says, has anyone taken your order? I said no ma’am, your server brought coffee and never came back to get my order. I then sat there waiting another fifteen-twenty minutes on my food. By this time the service is horrible! They bring my food finally, the Trucker Skillet, which was supposed to have sausage in it. No sausage! So I asked the second server that took my order, ma’am, don’t this supposed have sausage in it? She replies yes! I said we’ll it doesn’t! She offers a discount, I said no I’d like the sausage. I then wait another 10-15 minutes still no sausage. She did refill my coffee once. Who ever is the owner of this restaurant needs better servers faster cooks! Yes its diner food. That don’t mean it takes 30 minutes to get an order and to receive your food not right! It takes sausage 3-4 minutes to cook completely on a hot grill. I worked many years in the industry. I noticed others wait long periods as well. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I told them both to their face. Your service sucks, your food sucks and your cook is slow! Yall need to do better!!!

With over 1400 reviews and a 4 star rating, I’d say that’s a pretty damn good diner to eat at. Been a repeat customer over the past 20 years. It was sad to hear that one of the elder waitress had passed away. Crystal is the super star of Joe’s. Crystal has waited on me several times over the years, she is always polite and makes sure that the coffee cups are full and refills are ready before asking. The restaurant its self is always clean with the pleasant smells of comfort foods. The food is always served hot and in a timely manner with the question does everything look okay.

We stopped by Joes on our way out of town.
We were waited on right away and the waitress In the wait (Br Right brunette It wa) There too couldn’t have been friendlier.
Neither one of us can finish a meal so we split a western omelette and a pancake. I asked for the biggest cup of coffee they had and she brought me the biggest mug they had and was there Johnny on the spot to refill it whenever I had drank a little. The price was good. The food was amazing and I have no complaints. I would eat there again ! Let’s say we were waited on right away

Mixed Experience at Joe’s Diner

Stopped by Joe’s Diner for a classic comfort food meal and had a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese. The roast beef was definitely the star of the plate—tender, flavorful, and smothered in rich gravy. The mashed potatoes were just okay—not bad, but lacking seasoning and a bit on the bland side. Unfortunately, the mac & cheese was a real letdown. It tasted old and reheated, with no flavor at all, which was disappointing given how iconic that side dish should be in a diner.

That said, the service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive. The staff really helped make the experience better. I also loved the 50s diner aesthetic—bright, fun, and nostalgic, with great attention to detail in the decor.

With a few tweaks to the food (especially the mac & cheese), Joe’s Diner could easily be a top-notch spot. I’d definitely come back to try something different, especially with service and atmosphere as good as this.

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Service was good. Our waitress was by herself for a while and still was able to do a good job. The food was delicious. The establishment was nice. Will definitely stop by again if in the area.

NEVER AGAIN. My chicken tenders were burnt, flavorless, rubbery. Husband’s Philly had dry chewy meat, no cheese, and bread was harder than croutons. Mac and cheese was dry and very little flavor, basically tasted like over baked noodles w yellowish coloring. Neither of us finished our food. The server delivered it and then immediately disappeared until he brought the check. No refills were offered, no asking how it was or walking nearby so we could advise of the concerns. No napkins are provided. It was a terrible experience. We ended up going to a nearby Sheetz to get edible food. It does have an old school neat diner look.
