Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. I sat out on the patio. The weather was perfect. I had the stuffed mushrooms. Yummy. I ordered the lobster tail which was grilled and extremely yummy. The mash potatoes and broccoli were decent. I had a couple alcoholic beverages. One had something to do with a shark and it was better than the Hawaiian one that I had second. The dessert was an apple cobbler thing with vanilla ice cream. It was a bit too sweet for just me but would be perfect to share. My server was DJ and he was wonderful.

First time, and it was fantastic! We had searched for coupons and applied online, but got none; however they honored them anyway!! This was a birthday dinner and the food was beyond deliciously perfect! Compliments to the chef(s)! The decor is simple, open dining with a small bar area separate. Noise level made each table a private conversation. Lots of people on a Thursday evening so good we made reservations even for an early meal. Prices are comparable for good seafood meals. Worth the drive for us.

We love Joe’s Crab shack. But for some reason the flavor was just off on everything today. The shrimps weren’t cleaned and they were tough. Of course we didn’t complain. Just took it home and put our own spices on it.

Food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Also the view of the Boise River was great. Got to watch all the ducks and geese play in the river. Just an over all great experience. I definitely will be returning.

Staff was incredibly friendly. Great atmosphere. Excellent drinks. Although sadly we are pretty disappointed in the food. Joe’s Crab Shack was very hyped up. Was excited to try the food but it didn’t sit right and tasted a little off. We definitely have some bad stomach aches. It looked amazing. Maybe it was because it was towards the end of the day? Would possibly go again earlier in the day for a second chance. The clams and mussels were pretty dry tasting.
